    Beautiful paints! I only have a few of their colours. To answer your question, I watch your swatching videos usually late at night on my couch after my daughter goes to bed. 😃

    I'm watching intently with a view to adding more to my palette, I only have 21 of these paints and I do like them. I appreciate when you tell us how similar they are to one Another. Thank you for this video. ☺☺💖💖 Karen from Canada

    I have the 48 colors….and they have always been a classical favorite! Nothing funky there just clean clear watercolours ……great for botanical illustration!

    I came up with PR3 for Bright Red.

    If it’s helpful…. Emerald is a sheer, single pigment color- no white at all! You have Quite a thick application- which is the amazing- frustrating thing about their pan formulas…. If you aren’t familiar with them, you end up with heavy saturation Quite easily.
    You may enjoy searching them at about half strength to enjoy their soft w& sheer properties.
    Always love seeing Sennelier swatches- I love their palette. ✨
    Thanks for the vid- I have it playing as I am doing some painting myself!

    I watch while on the elliptical (*groans*) It makes the daily workout slog a little bit easier to get through.
    Also, I love that you order your swatches the way you do- when you finish a row, instead of going back to the left side of the paper, you continue the color swatching directly below the previous color so that all similar colors are adjacent to one another. I order my palettes like that, so I appreciate seeing the swatches ordered like that- makes it much easier to compare and contrast.

      I’m glad I help with the workout! Ya I always need to see the colors next to each other, it makes more sense to me, like a continuous line. Thank you Gingerblue.

    In the Jackson's Instagram they have videos about different pigments and stuff, the word pink use to mean a greenish dirty yellow, only after the Elizabethan era that the word was used to describe the color of the carnelian flower which had pinked petals

      Isn’t that so interesting on how a word and our interpretation changes over the years. Thank you.

    I aodre Sennelier, when I first tried them I didn't expect to love them as much as I did, they rarely go in my palette drawers and always sit in my desk ready for painting 🥰
    I dont like yellows but I did try Sennelier yellow lake because I'm not familiar with the pigment and it's so different than yours, I ended up loving this yellow because it was such a cool yellow yet not as bright like lemon yellow.

    • @RaspberryColors
      @RaspberryColors  Před rokem +1

      They are fabulous paints! I don’t know why the yellow lake is different? Hum? Thank you

    I just drink my coffee and watch :-) I wish I would’ve saw this video when you first uploaded it, I was trying to decide on some colors and it was hard to find pigment information on some of them… Thank you! I think brown pink is an old term, because pink used to mean yellow along time ago? I think they should change the name, but it’s historical :-)

      @RaspberryColors  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I didn’t know that about the “pink”. Thank you!

    My favourite colour is French Vermilion it becomes a beautiful pinky coral. I am not an orange fan but I love a coral. I would like to add to my small collection of Sennelier watercolour paints. I want some unique colors which they seem to have. I have many watercolour paint brands which have the same colours. I do not like Phthalo colors and I am looking for different colors to replace them in my palette. What do you suggest as the top-loved Sennelier paints to have in your palette. I like to paint flowers, fruit etc.

    • @RaspberryColors
      @RaspberryColors  Před měsícem

      Oooo the French Vermillion is so nice. Also some stand outs are. Naples Yellow Pbr 24, Brown Pink (dirty yellow), warm gray, green umber, bright red, ultramarine deep, perylene brown. I hope this is a fun list to look through, they are some favorites and original colors that Sennelier makes. Thank You.

    if you're still answering questions on this i would love to know why you didn't get quin gold. was it cuz you felt it was too similar to another color you have or just not like it. thanks for sharing.

    • @RaspberryColors
      @RaspberryColors  Před měsícem

      I like Quin gold but I have it in other brands, in other palettes. This palette could use it though, it’s a great color. Thank you Crystaline.
