I remember this one time I was carrying like 5 pizza boxes right in front of 3 mothers and their kids, none of them even moved from their perch on the trees, even the kids! They do give you a mean shove though, if you sometimes happen to be in their way

They aren't like humans they're wild animals and associate us with food not trying to be friendly and when a person who walks by them doesn't give them stuff they'll get either aggressive or try and take their bag to look for food. Not because they're starving or anything like that they just like food and Associate us with that which is not a good thing. Especially when there's large groups going to places where they know there are people to try and get stuff it may seem cute but it is dangerous plenty of people have their stuff stolen or have to deal with an angry monkey.
