I adore her. One of the best actors in the business.
She is an absolute delight.
A beautiful, emotional story about what it means to really love someone
Andrea couldn’t have described Alice and Jack more succinctly, and I’m grateful for her description. The series has been horribly painful to watch and I thought I was just missing something. This was a lovely interview - thank you both!!
I wish she would have got the 2 part interview....nice interview Seth
As a woman exploring a new relationship in early middle-age, Andrea's magical/awful descriptions of love are uncanny! 😂
Love the wedding speech. It will be a great classic soon
Just started watching it, this is a great series!!! They are both great!
She is wonderful. And a sweetheart.
omg, it's mandy! I loved andrea riseborough in that movie, she played that role so well
Fantastic conversation!❤
Alice and Jack is wonderful, odd and fascinating.
I’ve really been enjoying it on PBS!
@@madonnadersch3462 Yes. Me too!
I absolutely can’t wait for each episode!
Fantastic interview! Seth didn't even go for the cheap laugh at the end by asking, "Do you have any funny stories from being on set with Nic Cage?" 😊
Andrea can do everything. Such a natural actress. Always pitch perfect.
had zero hope they would talk about Mandy, but they do.
Loving her in The Regime.
Thank you Andrea Riseborough
I haven't seen her in any of the shows mentioned, but she is a terrific presence, at least on this show. They clicked. I'll definitely look her up.
She seems delightful!
We love andrea riseborough
I love her. If you haven't seen "Nancy", that's a great one (as well as Bloodline, and To Leslie, and so many more...)
I loved her in Magicians.
OMG Mandy, that's where I know her from! I was wracking my brain, I'm glad they brought it up. She's british?
Great to see Seth commending Riseborough in Mandy. Anyone else think that the creepy Jeremiah character in Mandy looks just like Seth when he is in his James Spader getup?
lol
Marvelous actor
She's always gonna be "original Annie" from Being Human for me. I know that makes me unreasonable, and she's been in a million things since then. But whenever she pops up, I always think "Oh hey, good for the actress who played a ghost in exactly one episode of Being Human, glad to see she's gotten some other work" because even back in that small role back then she left an impression that stuck with me.
I almost recognise the location in the clip, but not quite...
Anyone know where it is?
It looks like a town hall but there are houses opposite so...
Mandy 💜
Loved her since W. E.
Maybe my favourite actress. The lack of knowledge about Mandy is upsetting. She's also in a great movie called Possessor directed by Brendan Cronenberg, David Cronenbergs son. I highly recommend it to horror/sci-fi fans
And no mention of 'the Death of Starlin"..... which as a statment rather than title is hardly surprising
Was not aware of her but love her is The Regime.
Her new movie got blasted on Rotten Tomatoes. But I don't care. I will watch her in an.y.thing. I have seen her in so much British tv and film, most recently in the 2011 film "W.E.," in which she plays the real-life woman Wallis Simpson. I thought she was devastatingly divine.
Long time watcher 🎉
The 6 month strike was stressful without any comedy.
By the way Seth I moved to Argentina. I feel rich here compared to how poor I was in Miami. I post cost of living vids.. ❤
MANDY
Riseborough rocks.
This host always vies for worst out there with Colbert.
Both dead losses.

‘Kill the one you love’? Someone better rewrite ‘Romeo & Juliet’.
Is she Irish? If one were to paint a classical Irish woman, it would be her.
No shes English
Could quite easily have some in the mix, lots of Irish in the Newcastle area where she is from. Scottish obviously too. She seems to deliberately emphasise the ‘pale and interesting’ vibe.
@@nicolad8822 theres actually a very small amount of irish people who moved to Newcastle. Im a Geordie myself and my great grandparents were irish
I didnt click with this show at all, weird chemistry and not much happens except for the end. I didnt really get their characters or why they became so obsessed with each other
Does her dad know she steals from his closet?
I think the "Alice and Jack" thing was gawd awful, lol. Please, you have to be a glutton for punishment to sit through the entire series. The reviewers of this show on IMDb mostly gave it a thumbs down, and no wonder. I don't know why any Jack in his right mind would go for a woman like the one Riseborough portrayed, but we see a lot of that these days, don't we?? Alice was a freaking mess and unattractive to boot, sorry. Very disappointing. I'm glad I didn't pay to watch what little of it I could stand.
I see we’ve decided to move on from the “white privilege Oscar moment “ 🤔
I love her acting but am confused at the way she dresses…even on Alice and Jack…she needs a touch of femininity…IMP.
Missed opportunity Seth. The question should have been "Did Karim bring a lot of baggage into the relationship?" 🛄🎠🤎
