When I was a little girl we used to go to a place I believe was in Maggie Valley called Ghost town in the sky! I remember that chair lift up on top of that mountain! Cherished memories!

Love Maggie Valley. We spent part of our honeymoon there in 1979 at Pioneer Village, a little log cabin community. Thanks for showing us the fall decor and colors of beautiful Maggie Valley.

My parents use to love to drive up from Alabama to Nothern Georgia this time of the year to enjoy the fall colors and go to the Applebarn in N. Georgia . Would get Granny Smith and Golden Delicious . Mom loved it so much..I miss her very much..

I imagine Maggie Valley is Pigeon Forge from the 50s. But, it never caught on and the big attraction failed. Really cool place to visit and lots of things to see.

Speaking of stairs..lol.. God Love u 2 for getting up 2 the top.. I don't think I could make it..I was in amazement the other day.. Watching William Shatner.. go up 7 flights of stairs..And he's 90..!😳 That was more amazing 2 me than being bungeed at earth's orbit..!

Everything looks great! I always loved to go there. A long time ago there used to be a Stuckey's down there. We always made a stop there for candies and snacks. A beautiful place.

Dang those prices in the mom and pop stores were pretty high. But I understand they have to try to make a living. And I agree with y’all about the 2 guys in the truck; I wouldn’t hitch a ride with them 😂

We stayed at the Hillbilly RV park a couple years ago. The owners are really nice. They also run the store in front of the rv park. I was surprised to hear you say there were Cortland and MacIntosh apples there! Those were the apples I loved as a kid in the Adirondacks, and haven’t seen them available since I moved to the South. Now I want to get some, lol.
Maggie Valley looks like a really cool town!! Lots of neat shops and eating places! It sure is decorated for Fall! 50¢ sure is an affordable tower to climb to see the beautiful Smoky Mountains! Thank you for taking us along!
My moms family were from Maggie Valley, they were Cherokee. My mom was named Maggie for my grandfathers home place. Maggie Valley and Cherokee are both beautiful side trips to Gatlingburg or smaller quaint trip alternatives

We love Maggie Valley! It's a MUST STOP for us. We always stay at A Holliday Motel. Year after year we always get room #1. It's like home to us. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Fall is my favorite season. I really enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins, apples, Indian Corn and Fall decorations! I really miss growing Indian Corn. It was always exciting to shuck it back to see what color it was going to be. I also enjoyed seeing all the antiques as I am an antique nut! LOL Your food looked really good! Thanks for showing us around Maggie Valley!

We stayed two nights in Maggie Valley last year when we were on vacation in June. Beautiful area❤️
Is there a place you recommend?
We had two days before our stay in Gatlinburg so we just googled places as when entered town. We found the cutest little cabins that had fire pits and a nice stream running right behind our cabin and you could fish. Beautiful area. I am sorry can’t remember the name. They have lots of neat places to stay, but stay by the water if possible.

I have even seen elk on the west side of town, near bottom of mountain. I'll take the NC side of mountain over tn side any time. I'll be spending Halloween in a trout stream somewhere near there. 3rd trip from Indiana there this year!

Will and Dawn we have been to Maggie Valley. It is a really neat town. We loved it there. We went to Stomping Grounds. Beautiful mountains and great video. We went to Ghost Town in the Sky when it was still open. We were in the same country store as well.

I see that you are over in Maggie valley North Carolina I follow a couple of CZcamsrs y'all are one and Fridays forever been trying to get someone to do something on popcorn Sutton the moonshine man over there and Maggie valley he's been passed away about 10 years now he has a lot of history over there in them hills I wish someone would dedicate a CZcams video to popcorn Sutton and his legacy
