I am so thankful for our technology being able to give color to these old films and us being able to restore them closer to their former condition. These clips give us glimpes into other time periods and into the people who lived in them. Though I think it is important to realize that to them the present felt the same as to us it does now. They didnt live in the past but in their present time period. It would be interesting to know more of the background of the people filmed in these old films but it can be a hard task to track their histories down.

I don't think that the fashion styles from this era and prior will ever make a come back. We tend to become more efficient, and fashion back then simply weren't efficient by today's standard. We'd probably wear them for the odd occasions, but for daily use, definitely no.

Time travel is real in your heart has great admiration to those people that lived before us. The simple things of life that we all miss was then which shows us how the centuries have past by. The same effect will happen when we are all become distant past but with the amazing technology inventions on preserving video .. our souls will be forever grateful that we are all important for generations to have an enormous opportunity on discovering how life and we were. It’s a sad thought and the passage of time is not fair for us. I know everyone is loved. We enjoy fully seeing how life was centuries ago. Old precious film reals is an amazing personal time traveling experience

There are many animals from that time still alive, epecially certain species of tortoise. All humans are most likely gone. We can't be 100% certain since births were not always documented. The oldest confirmed person today was born 1907.

i feel joy that their image is captured. their faces and movement bring life to the stories of history. colorized makes their image even more meaningful. I wouldn't want my image and movements to make anyone sad. Rejoice in the fact that they lived and we see them. They look happy and well fed. Makes you realize that this is a short sojourn here on earth and that one day we all must depart. The Good news is that we all have the opportunity to have Eternal Life with God and our Lord Jesus Christ if you accept him as Lord and Saviour of your soul. Repent and give your life to Jesus and worry not about what's to come of your terrestrial life but rather be hopeful that after this you will awaken in Heaven with God and the Angels. Accept Jesus and this is the Promise that God gives us from his word. In Jesus Name I pray that anyone reading this , seeks him and accepts him in there heart in full.

I am so thankful for our technology being able to give color to these old films and us being able to restore them closer to their former condition. These clips give us glimpes into other time periods and into the people who lived in them. Though I think it is important to realize that to them the present felt the same as to us it does now. They didnt live in the past but in their present time period. It would be interesting to know more of the background of the people filmed in these old films but it can be a hard task to track their histories down.
Fascinating. This is the year my grandmother was born. She lived to be 103 years old and saw so many historical changes.

I don't think that the fashion styles from this era and prior will ever make a come back. We tend to become more efficient, and fashion back then simply weren't efficient by today's standard. We'd probably wear them for the odd occasions, but for daily use, definitely no.
Humans change in many more ways than that my friend, these people were different people than us in the way they percieved the world, acted, spoke, and interacted with each other
