- The NBA All-Star Game starters were announced yesterday. LeBron James was the captain out of the West with Zion Williamson, Nikola Jokic, Steph Curry and Luka Doncic joining him. Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the opposing team captain and the four other East starters are Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react and share their ASG snubs.

Yeah someone got in an argument with me about Markkenan .... saying PER & win shares and all that don't prove anything because he's in the top 20 in them.
Told him he's a 7 footer avging 25/9 with insane shooting splits of 51/43/87% lol. He's having a huge affect on the court.... huge reason why a team that traded away Mitchell AND Gobert are in the playoff hunt when they are expected to be much worse.

The last 3 years (maybe even more) of the East vs West games no one put in any type of effort in playing and they were boring to watch, I've only watched the first 2 years of All-Star games when the draft system was introduced but they were actually fun games I don't want to see the old system back unless the teams will actually play.

Old Chunky Thunk isn't going to have much of a future because he weighs more than what his frame can support and he plays recklessly on top of that. His future is torn ACLs, torn hammys, torn ligaments, pulled groin, etc., etc. He's missed more games than he's played in them. If he doesn't already have them, he needs to get or upgrade: a chef, a dietician, and a physical trainer. What Skip forgets is that the NBA nowadays is so much based on shooting is that yes the Celtics can lose a game against anybody any given day. It took a amazing Warriors team "shooting" mostly to do what they did in the reg season. The variables are much higher when the game is mostly based on shooting then relying on a dominant bigman.

The Idea is to never allowed big mismatch by size and shooting in both starter and bench. The end is for having spacing, size, shooting and great defender, creating mismatch and making easier to create chance on offense.
