After a summer break, Grammy-nominated pianist Dr. Duane Hulbert returns to play Nikolai Medtner's Fairy Tale, Op. 34, No. 2 (0:01--2:50).
He then gives six tips/insights into this wonderfully Russian piece. (2:53-11:28)
(3:23) Tip 1: Master the LH continuous rolling notes.
(4:50) Tip 2: Bring out the RH melody.
    (5:43) Tip 3: Use a shallow pedal.
(7:45) Tip 4: Breathe (pianistically) when you see Medtner's commas.
(9:00) Tip 5: Prepare the subito entrances.
(10:05) Tip 6: Be aware of the harmony changes.
    Quote Medtner used as inspiration:
    "When we have called
    a thing ours, it departs
    from us forever."
    --Fyodor Tyutchev
We dedicate this performance to the memory of Blanche E Holmquist (1931--2023). Her daughter Ruth Holmquist was a classmate of mine at Eden Prairie High School, MN. Ruth wrote that every Friday night she and her mother would have a specific routine of watching several CZcams channels., finishing with Learn & Love Music. Thank you, Blanche and Ruth! This one is for you!
Dr. Hulbert received his BA and MM from The Juilliard School of Music and his DMA from The Manhattan School of Music. Hulbert received the Gold Medal at the 1980 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, and also won prizes in the 1981 Leeds Competition and 1985 Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition. He has performed as a soloist with symphonies across the United States and has given recitals at Merkin Hall in New York, Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and Benaroya Hall in Seattle. In 2002, his recording of the piano works of late-romantic Russian composer Alexander Glazunov was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Solo Instrumental Recording. David Hurwitz of ClassicsToday.com called the CD “a production that makes the best possible case for this really excellent but sadly neglected repertoire.” Dr. Hulbert taught at the university level for over thirty years.

Could you do the same on Rach prelude in g minor , I don't understand how to play that thing that look like a triple but it's actually not.
