Grading 1800 lbs of Tomatoes!

There are many different ways farmers great tomatoes. On our farm we go quite a bit of high tunnel tomatoes. The way we sell our tomatoes at farmer's market or by selecting the perfect ones from the bad ones. The way I do it is the tomatoes that are perfect I put them aside from the others. We charge a premium for our top quality number one tomatoes. The one of the blemishes, dents, scratches, decoloring are put aside and sold separately. Like I mentioned in today's video it comes down to the farmer and how he believes how much they tomatoes are worth.
