I bought a pair of Evolve 30Ms in white and they're bloody awesome! I used them for a gig with a folk trio for over 200 people and I got a lot of compliments on the audio quality. They were set up behind us on the stage and we had barely any issues with feedback, thus eliminating the need for stage monitoring. I was initially confused when using the app because I forgot to set the slave speaker as non mixer. The built in mixer presets were great starting points but it would be great if EV added many more like Bose did with its tonematch presets. The Evolve 30M is very feature packed for the money and the app is fantastic. It's also easily expendable thanks to the dedicated outputs so it's easy to add a compact dedicated sub like one of the EV ones that can be also easily controlled via the same app. Thanks for the excellent review and demo.
You're right about dedicating a device solely to the mixing of the 30m. I did a party, and the mixing was a nightmare because all I had was my phone. It was a royal pain to keep opening back up the app to make a simple adjustment at will. I'm still trying to figure out which is better to add a second speaker( one that's not the same). Is it better to run off the mix out, or the aux out? What is your opinion? Thanks for the video and any suggestions.
Excellent review!

Run Mix out. We actually don't use the onboard mixer any more because of the bluetooth issues. Purchased a pair of 50's instead
@VICLIFE3DBL00H Great, thanks! I'm going back to using a separate mixer as well.
