At idle, your secondary isn’t supposed to spin. you need to align your clutches.

I think he is right , had issue with my polaris 570 doing that
I had my 2020 outlander max 650 cover off new, less than 200 miles with the engine running. and the secondary does spin and never had a problem . I am now at 6000 km.
Good job, I would add that it is advisable to do a few break-in kilometers.

I see that your footwell is still on during this install, BRP BOOK SAYS TO REMOVE IT for belt installation,. which I really don't want to do. Is it hard to get the cover off with the footwell still on the machine.

How do u know when u need a nee belt? I have an xmr 850 outlander
We changed the belt to test this belt model.. Usually, when the belt starts to wear, it spins empty, skates and specific sounds are heard.
Ce preț a avut cureaua? E ok? Ms și succes în ceea ce faceți
Cureaua este încă in test. Pana in momentul de fata, după aproximativ 400 km si câteva curse mai hard pare ok nu sunt probleme. Mulțumim pentru apreciere!

What is the thread specs of the bolt to remove the belt?
Is it any better than stock?
I just got my 2021 outlander 1000 max & I would like to have a spare ready .
i had only 1000 km till now with this belt ... it is ok, we had some heavy rides with the atvs and the belt till now it is ok
There's no torque spec to remove the belt, you just screw the bolt and the secondary clutch will crush and let the belt loose free.
Bolt that you can use is a M8 x 1.25 and about 3" or 8cm long
did you get any improved performance?
I noticed some minor improvements in traction, but not here I wait to see how it handles, but in the life of the belt on my driving style

Spray curățitor frâne , Wurth. Cu Plăcere! Uni spun ca nu e bine așa mult spray dat, dar noi folosim așa pentru a se duce tot praful si mizeria acumulata.

Eu as recomanda sa dai cu sprei cand nu este montata curea
Si sa nu dai in intrior la variomatic acolo ai bucsa pentru liber care trebuie Sa aiba grasime speciala cu spreiul o speli

I see in another comment you left the footwell. How difficult was it to leave it on? I have the 1000r xmr and was just wondering. Love the videos!
A bit tricky but is more convenient that to remove the footwell...

Removing the footwear takes an extra 5 minutes at most and makes putting the belt cover back on much easier and less chance of having the gasket shift.

I changed it at about 2500 km because it was showing signs of wear... I use this kind because of the price... it is not something wow...

Reliable belt?
Changed at around 2600 km / had signs of fatigue and I do not think it lasts more than 400 - 500 km according to my driving style ... Replaced with another Gates G-force RedLine ...
