I saw the CAS for the first time at my crush's phone. I found out the band because of him actually. And for 3 years when I listened to Cas music, I always thought him and miss him. And now actually I am pretty good and I didn't see him for 2 years.
Every time I listen to this playlist I remember my ex, and when we spent a vacation together in the hills of Tuscany with nothing around but just ourselves and nature. The last time I've heard any songs from C.A.S was 2 years ago. So much had happened since then, and now looking back all of that, I can't believe I've lived through all that. But I did. Listening to Cigarettes After Sex again makes me feel like taking a bitter pill that is sweet at the same time. I feel like I can just drop myself on bed knowing that I wouldn't have to worry about anything tomorrow; it's pure bliss.

It was November 2022, and I was close to graduating. I had only one or two exams left. During that time, I was seeing Claudia, the only soulmate I had ever met. We had a beautiful story, but one evening while we were starting to go out together, she kissed another person. I distanced myself without cutting ties. We continued going out, drinking, and kissing, but I was always on the edge. I couldn't feel as in love as I was before.
Time passed, she left for Berlin, then Vienna. When she returned to Bologna where I was studying, we promised to see each other and do the sunrise like we used to, wandering around the city, drinking, playing the guitar, and having fun with our friends. It would have been too emotionally overwhelming for me. i was friends with a girl named ryleigh and she would play these songs at her house. I was stupid and immature to the point where I ended our friendship over something stupid. Now I listen to CAS and it hurts so much. I miss her so much and wish I could give her a hug. I hope she is doing okay now but please, if someone shares CAS with you in a friendship..... keep that friend close to you. Because when you listen to this, you will remember them.
