- Young teachers from a school in Johannesburg accuse the school principal of sexual harassment. They claim that their plea for action to be taken against him fell on deaf ears.

Why is he allowed to be in the vicinity of kids whilst he has such serious allegations leveled against him?
It is because he is still presumed innocent until proven guilty. He will be dismissed or even jailed if found guilty by the Courts.

Many teachers should come out about their experience, this is so common especially in rural areas, and due to high unemployment , many young teachers will keep quite to secure a job.

When I was in education I was in the unions as a branch representative at the school I worked at and dealt with many cases one of them was a sexual harassment case with a school principal as the perpetrator, it’s really heartbreaking.

Most Principals are SADTU gurus - reporting to the Department is a complete waste of time; they will protect the principal at all costs.
Chances are, they won't renew her contract, and it will be very hard for her to get a job in the area around the district.

Hi Guys, I hear the story of the lady that she was pushed to the back and couldn't do anything. I don't condone any sexual harassment, what the Principal did was wrong and justice must be served.
Anyways here is my point, how did the teacher got naked in that office?? In a way that it became easy for the principal to put his thing inside Her. Most especially there are people around that area why couldn't She scream. I take it she kept quite while the Harassment took place. Noo Guys, the question is How was she Undressed?? I think you need to learn about what consent means. A victim doesn’t have to scream to stop the perpetrator. You can’t dictate a person’s reaction when faced with a traumatic situation.

I heard "uzawudibana ne mbila zithutha" in Setswana we say the same thing, "o tla kopana le dipela di thota/fuduga". This is a very sad story. That man is a rapist mos, why is he still a headmaster of that school, worse working in an environment with children? I think he must be named and shamed before he does the worst. How does SADTU represent the principal as if he’s got against a case against the employer! The victim needs not even approach them as SADTU, as soon as they know it’s a matter like that and it involves two members on either side, then they opt out! Rather lose the membership of this member than act so corruptly!!! I’m a man, but I’m not gonna be surprised that this was a decision of men on their own! To them I say, I wish this happens to your wife or daughter…or even mother; cos that’s someone’s mother, sister or wife/partner there that you would out as SADTU, including SAPS and DET!
Sadtu is useless, they are behind selling of posts and cde deployment of useless principals and HODs in most schools, in some schools here in Johannesburg, they hire their relatives and it's facilitated by the union.
