@@lovinglifegarner6959 Sorry, I’m here to listen to great music. You are here to troll like so many Martel minions. I’m afraid professionals disagree with you. czcams.com/video/2tNb8G6TCQI/video.html Vocal Strengths: Adam Lambert has expert control over his instrument, producing notes that are well supported, and achieved via great technique. He is capable of singing complex melisma and is able to hold notes for periods of time without wavering in pitch or tone, seemingly effortlessly. He is an expert at mixing his voice so that the breaks between the registers aren't identifiable, and the effect of this is that it makes the voice sound almost limitless. The lower range is dark and weighty, with a breathy quality to it in its lowest extremes. However it begins to solidify, and gain a more confident tone, quickly as it rises. The midrange is solid, of medium weight and rounded. It can be used with a raspier, edgier texture- verses of Whataya Want From Me- or can be made sweeter, warmer and softer-A Loaded Smile- depending on what is called for. It leads fluently into the belting range. The belting range is Adam Lambert's strongest suit. The voice possesses an elastic quality that allows it to stretch high up into the fifth octave and though the tone is light- when compared to the lower range- it's resonant, clear, bright and truly impressive. The upper fifth octave notes can be reached by mixing with the head voice, to create a strong, fuller tone or they can be sung in a rocky, piercing falsetto-Music Again 0.49- that is markedly contrasting to the breathy, sweet falsetto many males utilise. These notes can be further polished by the addition of his quick vibrato. Adam Lambert also has a robust and piercing head voice, that, like the rest of his range, displays excellent dynamics and control.

If you don't like the new version fine, but your comment was just pointlessly bigoted and left field. And if "Motown 1966" agrees with you, you've got problems because all she ever does with her life is trash the band.
Queen could have continued to be relevant after Freddie's death. Instead they went the SJW route and hired some minimally talented gay dude to take Freddie's place. What a loss to the music world.
Do you know how incredibly arrogant and ignorant you sound? Laughable, in fact, given all they have accomplished. And this concert is an earlier one. Go look at some later performances of that song. @@duallity2403 Two of the most consummate, brilliant musicians in the world are going to pick someone just because they are gay? Do you even realize how ridiculous that sounds? Many bands play their hits in concert. Tribute bands do not contain original members, especially ones who founded the band.
Adam Lambert has 4 multi-platinum albums, 2 of them in first place on billboard, 3 sold out world tours, a grammy nomination, he has sung before an audience of 500 million in China, he has won 40 world awards, he is the best singer in the world, a fashion icon, a defender of human rights. With Queen he has made 6 tours with 218 shows totally sold in 42 countries before 4 million people, a # 1 album in various countries, a documentary that is the # 6 most watched movie on Netflix in the world, winner of the best band in rock in the world. So Adam Lambert is a winner and you are just a loser that Queen and Adam don't need, their shows sell out in minutes.
@@erikagolcher1353 So. Adam still sucks. Nowadays, selling records has nothing to do with actual talent. He can sing other things but not Queen songs. His voice doesn't fit and his stage presence sucks. Just bc people like something doesn't necessarily make it good.
@@aimlessbauer9082 Adam is laughing at you counting his 35 million dollars and about to begin his 36 sold out concerts in Europe, it is all about talent....hahahaha deal with it.
Adam Lambert is worth 45m and most of the money he earned is from his solo career Albums, his business endeavors, live on stage performances of his 5 Albums etc and eternal etc's
This version sucks.

Vocal Strengths: Adam Lambert has expert control over his instrument, producing notes that are well supported, and achieved via great technique.
Are you a professional no so shut it

A whole mistake... and a shame. it doesn´t honor Mercury´s legacy. Crap.
It’s not a mistake for the millions of fans who love them and fill up those stadiums to see them.

This song is Brian’s, you’re an idiot, sir.
@@lararoostalu9318I'm pretty sure freddie made the song initially but brian helped make it great when freddie joined queen and it was their first performance and the band absolutely killed it
Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor, Phil Spike Edney and QUEEN'S Management Team chose Adam Lambert way back in 2009. In 2014, Freddie Mercury's mum voiced her wish that Adam Lambert be Queens permanent frontman. Adam Lambert is FOREVER PART OF QUEENS HISTORY AND LEGACY.
I'll rather choose Marc Martel than Adam Lambert.
You aren't too familiar with Queen are you?
@@TheaterPup aren't you..? Do u know how to listen and how he sang it like the original...? Do you know how to sing..? Do you know how to differentiate..?
I know Freddie Mercury is a gay but the way he sing and deliver the song like a rockstar. And I'm die hard fun of Queen.

@@Motown-1966 I'm not surprised you'd support a homophobic comment, sweetie. And really you can't spell theater? LOL
@@jimusikero Um honey, being gay and being a rock star don't have to be separate things. Especially with a band like Queen, that you've clearly learned nothing from.
Sweetie this isn’t gamer gate. Grow up.
Do you know how incredibly arrogant and ignorant you sound? Laughable, in fact, given all they have accomplished. And this concert is an earlier one. Go look at some later performances of that song. People grow in general. I was enjoying doing the same with Aerosmith the other day. Singers might have a bit of a shelf-life, but Adam is at his peak. Sorry I distracted you from your no doubt nearly finished doctorate in music studies that props up your dribble. Hey, HOMOPHOBE: You feel compelled to mention that Queen hired gay dude. Did you like Freddie?
Minimally talented? He's a better singer than Freddie. Also why would they go the Christian religious straight married guy without an ounce of charisma and showmanship route? For morons like you?
@@pankakesnotstellar Better singer, that's your opinion. I don't happen to agree. Who said anything about bible thumpers? This is Queen, one of the biggest rock bands in the world. They could have had ANYBODY. George Michael fuckin killed it at the Tribute, why not ask him? Robert Plant? David Bowie? Geoff Tate? They don't seem to write anymore, so all they need is a singer for touring. I just feel like they thought they had to pick a gay guy because their fans would be pissed if they didn't.
@@duallity2403 Two of the most consummate, brilliant musicians in the world are going to pick someone just because they are gay? Do you even realize how ridiculous that sounds? George wouldn’t have been able to handle the Queen catalogue like Adam so easily can. He didn’t have the vocal power or versatility. The same for the others. Can you imagine them singing Killer Queen or Who Wants To Live Forever or The Show Must Go On or so, so many more. It would be laughable. They looked at many singers and chose Adam because he was the only one who easily and flawlessly handled the entire catalogue in the original key. They loved his voice, thought no one sang like him, thought he was incredible. They knew what they were doing. They chose the very best.
