Just learned this was one of only a few sketches that he wrote. He was a writer for 1 season, but primarily for monologues.

He is a black comedian who I have always found funny his stand up and his television show and his work all are all his brand love it, it's funny as helll thanks for making fans always laugh Martin!

@@floridamadebreel2882 his opening monologue had a joke about chicks cleaning their vagina n a joke about bobbit having a small white penis...he was 2 raw 4 the audience...he talked about it on his stand up called funk it....i think his style of comedy was 2 aggressive 4 snl personally...in the 90s his style wasn't universally appealing...

Why do all the Martin snl uploads have such low view counts it can’t be a lack of hilarity these clips were uploaded over seven years ago where are the views this is s n fucking l with Martin fucking Lawrence in the 90’s they hating on Martin y’all
The reason most of those videos have a low amount of views is because SNL blocked them in the US for a while for some reason.
I love Martin, but first time seeing this ever, 8 years after upload 🤷🏻♂️

I see this comment a lot but keep in mind, Martin Lawrence didn't write these sketches. They were written by SNL writers. All the blame should go to them. When Martin Lawrence did his own material or had his own writing crew doing stuff for him on his stand up and Martin, he KILLED. Just something to think about before you blame it on him.
