Her fighting style seems to be built around doing the most damage possible short of serious injury. Lots of head shots, body shots, and slams which, given her strength, are generally pretty devastating.

Also the first day she tried she ended up in a series of events that ended in her killing someone with a single hit that was the force of a bus. Since coroner had to confirm the force of impact when confirming her cause of death.

Jessica's fights are basically her trying not to murder people as she deals with them, she could kill any non-enhanced human that comes at her with a single punch but she reaaaally doesn't want to do that. She barely ever follows through on her punches because of how strong she is, most of them are basically just her tapping people, or she's grabbing or throwing them.
This show was good I just hope that if she does return to marvel in the future they can give her character more justice and make stronger than what she was on Netflix Jessica Jones is really strong other than that it sucks that Netflix had to cancel the show I was looking forward to season 4

When you think about it, not really. I feel like Luke wins most of the time because he has one advantage that she doesn’t, he’s more durable. Jessica is durable but her durability is just enough to be able to handle her strength without taking severe injuries, Luke is bulletproof and there’s not really that many things that can hurt him. Even though Jessica is stronger than most of her opponents, she could still get hurt by them and has to also rely on her speed and quick reflexes to overpower them, Luke is just a walking tank who doesn’t have to worry about getting hurt by anything his opponents throw at him so his style is basically just punching, slapping, or throwing them around like rag-dolls. I’m not trying to say Luke is a bad fighter but when you think about it, Jessica technically has better fighting skills and she was able to overpower Luke in their fights with her speed and reflexes. However, Luke and Jessica are still technically equals in terms of power scaling in my opinion, as his durability and strength puts him on the same level as Jessica.
This is not gonna make me any friends however as much as I like Krysten Ritter I think her fight scenes are horrible. Look at the Black Widow fight scenes and they're no comparison. Don't use the movies as a copout 'cause Netflix gave us Daredevil. Even if Ritter had a choreographer they can only do so much. She needed a good 3 months of intensive training given her past roles.
The fact is...Jessica is a not an expert martial artist. Even in the comics. She’s just a street combatant with skills of super strength and flight abilities.
