I opened 2 cases in my entire life,and with almost 5 years of CS:GO. Then I decided to buy skins that I spesifically wanted including a knife,it was a gut doppler p4 lmao. It gained more and more value over time and I can sell it for more than twice the amount I bought it for.That's my experience,stay away from cases but buy the skins yourself (but don't get crazy)
i remember unboxing the huntsman case way back and got the howl from it... then i traded it for stattrak awp electric hive and after that the howl got removed..... :(

when i had maybe 10 hours in csgo, i opened a single sticker capsule and got a crown, then proceeded to put it on my default awp and scrape it off because i thought it went back to my inventory. this was like 4 years ago though so it was only a $20 sticker
