Science of the Inner Man: Swami Atmapriyananda

Swami Atmapriyanandaji gave an enlightening lecture on the topic drawing parallels between science, psychology and Vedanta at the 3-Day Symposium held by VSC, IITM in August, 2013 on Swami Vivekananda's message of Man Making.
Swami Atmapriyanandaji has been a part of the Ramakrishna Order since 1978. He has a PhD in theoretical physics from University of Madras . He has taught physics for 25 years and currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur. He is widely acclaimed for his distinctive style of expounding Yoga-Vedanta philosophy via a modern scientific perspective.As a monk and an educationist, his interests are in Swami Vivekananda's vision for man-making education, Yoga-Vedanta vis-à-vis modern science and harmony of religions.

Very well explanation of the waking, dreaming and deep sleep experience (Jagrata, Swapna and Susupta) and their connectivity with the true self (Atman) , the Turiya, mentioned in Mandukya Upanishad; The method to analyse the core of reality from the relative perspective of self.
