This was the most impactful intro I've ever watched. Even tho it's fake human trafficking isn't. Children are stolen everyday to serve as objects for sick people whether that be for their organs, for sex, for slavery etc. It's disgusting!

If you remove the humour from this film, it's one of the darkest ones. Child Trafficking, killing the 'defective' ones, a family of 2 children being fake, Nat had to kill a child as collateral damage, 2 loving sisters separated, being reunited, father was sent way in Prison, then again at last facing demons from past of the daughter, and the man who took away your childhood. 😞😞 That won't be marvel style, but they had to which made the movie a bit lower in ratings.

The worst of all is that that evil Countess, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, is using Yelena and taking advantage of her sadness and lying to her that Clint Barton "killed" Natasha, it shows that Valentina is not ashamed to use other people for her personal benefit...What am I talking about? That is a classic of super villains: Using innocent or suffering people to achieve their Machiavellian plans.

i like ur comment, but at the same time i find they sugar coated dark subjects in exchange for action scenes (lets not forget bruce saying he tried to kill himself it was glossed over), i think it was dark too, but i also think the movies will only get darker from here on out :)

I didn’t realize how dark the original song was until I listened to this version. The original is like Pumped Up Kicks in the way that’s it’s really dark but you don’t realize it because it’s just fun to listen/jam out to and because you don’t really put much thought into the meaning of the song until you actually read the words.

It made me wish this came out several years ago. Her sacrifice in Endgame would have been much more powerful if she had all this character development established. She had as much to sacrifice as Barton did, yet gave it up anyway to save the world. I would have liked to know that before she threw herself off the cliffs on Vormir....
Don’t worry, they’ll all come back when Secret Wars comes to the MCU. Not the exact same characters, but they will.
@@jonathonpolk3592 Nat was okay with the decision because she knew her family would be also back. They were snapped definitely. Also Scarlett is happy that she leaves the MCU on a high note at least, with her own movie. She would’ve liked to play the character more but she will work more creatively with Marvel in the future I heard.
I grew up listening to the original. So when this song played in the beginning it gave me chills. This is a great reinterpretation of a classic song.

He's well protected but with the right team we can punch a hole though those defenses, take this beast out, and break there grip on freehold.
The opening of this movie is the best in Marvel. Shows the tragedy of Natasha’s character really showing us she had the saddest backstory of all the Avengers. Then with it going into real world issues like child trafficking and then brainwashing/indoctrination. Made me feel so bad for her. Never expected this in a modern Marvel film

at 3:34 you can begin to hear an alarm/siren noise building up. the way it gets gradually louder makes me feel uneasy and almost fearful. that's why this song was perfect for the themes of the intro montage.
This movie was fire and amazing. We've been completely waiting her solo movie for years and now she died for saving the universe makes me feel sad that we wont see her anymore in the future mcu. Can't imagine that her life not meant to be happier long time but to make her a hero. RIP Nat ❤️🥺

Notice how Natasha's avenger name was BLACK Widow. I liked the parallels between her being a deadly widow from her time in the Red Room, where red was the prime color, to her time after escaping the Red Room. When Natasha escaped from the Red Room and ultimately took revenge on the guy that ruined her life and the lives of other innocent girls, she chose the color black instead to represent her. While the color black represents death and darkness, it also represents forgiveness of past mistakes, which perfectly shines what Natasha in a sense experienced. Just an idea
And when she died, she was wearing white. 😊

When I heard the first tone in the cinema, I was like total goosebumps, this is the f*cking Nirvana cover I love so much, they didn't do that! Along with the whole opening scene, the best MCU intro so far.
I got literal fucking chills from this sequence. It was so perfect for setting the tone and what the girls had gone through. Holy shit Marvel fucking nailed it. Whoever came up with the idea for that sequence, give them a raise and more projects.

I think the part that really hits me with this intro is when it says "here we are now, entertain us" and "our little group..." Paired with the scenes it shows, its really quite a chilling and powerful intro.

Honestly one of my favorite Marvel movies. Sad that the box office sales weren't too great for the movie. I think if the movie was released before Infinity War, it'd do 10X better. But as is today, most people don't see the need to watch the movie knowing what happens in Endgame.
