    Great channel. I think these guys were generally on the right track (at a cursory glance, I haven't thought about or read into their positions/critiques of their positions that much yet).

      It's a big glass board, I write on it and then the image is flipped (so I'm not really left handed)

    36:28 I really don’t buy the “alien computer argument.” We know that there is a most problems(that are well defined) are intractable to computers, like the haulting problem. Here “find the meaning of this sentence/a way to verify it” is a bit different because the computer has to somehow access the information about the outside world, but the point is, it is far from obvious that such a computer can exist, in fact it seems likely that it can’t exist.
