- Hi and thank you for joining me here! 🤗
In today's video I'm sharing my first, uncensored impression of a B6 Apunto Gillio cover I got second hand and I did my best to compare it to other leather covers I currently have in my collection - Moterm and Mansorah Atelier.
I wanted to do this video as I often find similar ones very useful and relevant while I'm in the process of trying to find a cover that will suit my need and preferences best.
As I am mostly dependent on ordering leather covers online (I believe a lot of us are in that same boat 😊) and with the fact that I have no opportunity to see and feel them in person before investing, I am so thankful for the people in the community that generously share similar videos and provide comparisons! 💛
And also to the second hand market and all the kind people that are willing to swap or sell their unused covers /analogue tools and artifacts, giving them a new life 🤗

Ever since Moterm came out with their vegetable tanned leather, I rarely buy Gillios anymore. I will still buy off of BST or even new if I want a Croco print (I don’t care for Moterm’s crocos). I love the texture on your Gillio!😍
Totally agree with you about Moterm veg tan vs Gillio
I wish mansorah atelier sold and shipped to the US I love all her gorgeous covers soo much
Your covers are gorgeous, really did enjoy watching.
I only have three covers at the moment, the two travellers notebook sizes and a A6 which I had made by a man here in the uk, Meadowgate leather on Etsy. Where I am in the UK I can’t go to my town and find leather covers either. I like to feel them for myself so thank you for this video it’s so informative ❤
Glad you like them and happy you found this useful! 😊

Loved this informative video. I use A6 sizes for my art journaling and have HSL and Dinara Leather covers on them. I also cut down a regular TNC cover to A6 size. I love my Weeks Tomoe River paper for playing around in. I have the Dinara Leather cover on it which I really love. I am keen to get a B6 cover from Magdalena for my B6 Sterling Ink planner. I have the plastic cover on it now. You always describe things so perfectly. I can really see how they look. Each cover has its own beauty. I love the feel and smell and sound of leather. I love that each journal has its own story and maker. Each one is very special. I love that about my journals.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! In the US I like Mercari for secondhand planners. It’s a great resource!
Thanks for sharing! 😃 Unfortunately I can't access Mercari 😔 maybe because I'm in the EU, I tried several times but no success. But I've heard it's great! 😃
