In Chapter 15 of Inside CHANEL, The Self-Portrait of a Perfume is described as an abstract painting, an olfactory geometry, an invisible palette, a secret inspiration.
"I wanted an artificial perfume. That's right, artificial, like a dress; meaning manufactured. I am a designer of couture. I want a perfume that is a composition," declared Gabrielle Chanel.

Such poetic, timeless, beautiful words. Just like the perfumes. My personal favourite is No 19, I was first gifted a bottle for my 19th birthday by my Mother. I still wear it, this year I’m 56. It’s stunning, it’s beautiful, it’s a feeling, it’s a state of mind, it’s a loyal friend.
i truly adore the thoughtful designs and spots and products behind chanel. i love that everything has a story to be told, or colors of lipstick and traditional scents have this ahmazing thoughtful background and still are beautiful, rare, luxurious and simply breathtaking. it's the magical chemistry which let me always, always choose chanel. just an ahmazing spot as always!

My Inspiration))
The video is amazing but it supised me. In the beginning when the letters fell inside the bottle, 2 letters were stucked in the "air"; when the voice mentioned to the Head Perfumers, Olivier Polge didn't fit between Henri Robert and Jacques Polge ...and finally, when the line draws the N°5 bottle around the perfume names the line cross out (a little bit) the names in the bottom.
Well, it's a CHANEL video, I love almost everything of this brand, but those mistakes (?) surprised me.
