- In this video, I show you how to fix the issue on your Samsung Sound Bar where the volume keeps going up. My Samsung sound bar had an issue where the volume kept going up to max volume without touching any thing. I found a work around and a fix so that you don't have to deal with it anymore.

This fix, absolutely works. Had the same issue with volume on bar going up. Disconnected ribbon in the soundbar , problem was solved, thanks.

Was experiencing a different issue that stemmed from the same culprit (input constantly cycling sometimes and then staying muted).

Weird. I wonder if the control board is defective.
Mine was doing the opposite volume going down & when I opened my back of my sound bar the tab u spoke of was down already so all I did was make it up right again and tighten it. Now everything works fine!!! took a total of 60 seconds to fix it.

What if I tell you I did It 2 years ago, I found that solution, and It was solved and today with non funtional physical bottons they issue is here again.
The remote control I'm using is the TV one and without the soundbar, the volume issue is gone. The other remote control with no batteries.

Mine ended up being the remote. I popped off the cover and realigned the rubber pad.

On my soundbar, the problem is the opposite. When using the remote to volume DOWN, the unit's volume rises to MAX and won't come back down. I've tried Factory Reset, which did not fix it. Suspecting the remote control itself to be the issue, I'll try get a replacement remote.
