I definitely think everyone should go through a bit of operatic training specifically for lung capacity and vocal control. I swear, it’s so much better singing anything when you can do _opera_ singing

Iv heard that being a opera singer is a whole thing, they spend years of there life perfecting there voices to be able to not only sing but with power, and some of not most are Abel to sing in different languages… such a cool thing
Singing in different languages is absolutely true, except it's actually quite common. Disclaimer, I'm not an opera singer. I'm a high schooler who's been in voice lessons for the past five years and who is being taught by an opera singer, though. Most of the most popular operas aren't in English at all. The magic flute, which is the opera queen of the night is from, is in German. And singing in other languages isn't as difficult as you might expect. And I am speaking from personal experience. For solo/ensemble, which is the time of year I'm currently preparing for, it's common to sing art songs, which could be from operas, or could be individual songs written in an operatic style. For solo/ensemble, at least the level I'm at, you have to sing them. And, like opera, many aren't in English. My first one ever was called alma del core, which is an Italian song. Last year I did the little horses, which is in English. And this year I'm back to Italian again with danza danza fancuilla. German and French are a couple other common languages to sing in (like I said, queen of the night is German) Each language has a slightly different set of sounds, but vowel sounds are the most important part of singing, and vowel sounds stay largely unchanged. Beyond that, it's just learning the different ways consonants sound, but again, most of those are the same. And those that aren't are usually easy enough to learn. And there are translations out there to understand what's happening if the song is in a language you don't speak. It's maybe slightly more work than an English song, but it's really not that different That said, opera singers are absolutely insane. They can do insane things with their voices because, yes, they do spend years perfecting it. That's not to say, though, that people from other genres of music don't spend years on their voice. There are different styles. A musical theater singer is not a pop singer is not an opera singer. Once you know one it can be easier to go between them, but being trained in one doesn't mean you can do another. They have different demands, and all can be very difficult. I love musical theater and I mainly sing that, and like I said, I've been in voice lessons for 5 years. I've improved a lot, but I still have so much to do for my voice. But, yes. Being an opera singer does require an insane amount of time and practice and honestly, physical stamina. People don't realize how physically and mentally challenging it can be to sing correctly
yeah as someone who takes opera lessons i can confirm that learning to project when it comes to opera is important, and sometimes if your projection is decent enough you can rely on the shape of the hall you’re singing in to make you voice louder
For a non-classical singer, I'm impressed! Granted I'm not a soprano but I do sing classical, and it sounds like you definitly show potential! I think with a couple lessons to learn the proper technique, you could be well on your way to becoming a good classical singer. Well done!
You did great for your first time!!! Just some tips when singing this type of music It’s a more round and fuller sound. So to help that, have your lips more round/ puckered to help with the staccato part. Keep that in mind when you sing that part because there are some changes in the vowels which has a different mouth shape. Also opera is more fuller than pop. So when singing it’s more farther in your mouth to create a fuller sound instead of a bright forward sound that is more pop like. Most opera is in different languages which requires learning different languages like French, Italian, etc but there are some in English if you want to learn some opera. What also help is to sing more classical type music which can help you with the similar vowels and phrasing that doesn’t require as much projecting as in opera singing. (I hope I explained it well enough lol This is my advice not saying this to be mean or call your singing bad , you are a great singer and just want to give some advice on this type of genre of music, I wish I could sing pop like music as well as you but I sing more classical and operatic pieces. So if you have any question feel free to ask.)
PLUS THE TOUNGUE, make your toungue rounder, she was stressing her larynx. Pop culture really uses flat tongues I’m impressed how the sound worked out to be good though

i was gonna comment something like this, but i thought it might be too harsh for her
oml why can’t we just be fun without worrying it’s too cringe like you ppl r the reason ppl r insecure
OMG HOW? You're literally a singing angel! Btw ur eye makeup looks amazing!
That's good enough for me tho 🤗❤ you've got the talent.
I had to sing this in my 7th grade musical
I'm also a ~pop girl~ but yeah you NAILED it!
why is no one talking about her eyeliner it’s so pretty
Ooooft that was good! I specifically found this video wondering how a different style of singer would go
That was pretty good!🤯
Her range is amazing! At some point she went so high my earbuds glitched out 😅
Edited: fixed a typo- oops!
Wow THAT WAS AMAZING! I’ve tried this before and my voice just died lol amazing job! 🤩

OMG WHEN THE GOOGLE VOICE STARTET PLAYING 💀
I'm impressed, really impressed!
A worthy effort on one of the most challenging pieces of music ever composed. Good on ya for stretching yourself into unfamiliar territory. Brava!
That’s amazing my voice would of been cracking
Omg you have the best voice ever!! Love it! And always don’t Doubt yourself!! Believe In Yourself!✨
It’s giving ✨penthouse vibes✨❤
This is actually amazing
Why does it always say “attempt 1” if she does it perfectly anyway
Because she wants to look good
@@K-Popfolife or maybe it’s her first attempt
She actually didn't do it perfectly. I'm a classically trained singer and can hear the difference. She's straining because she's not using the right techniques and not controlling her breath to push the sound out so she's struggling at the end.
Because it’s far from perfect. She has the range for it but don’t she the techniques to hit the demand of those high Fs.
Normal people : oh waw queen of the night by mozart.
K-drama lovers: Penthouse :") YAK JOO DAN TAE!! 🙃
Bae Rona and Oh Yoon-hee singing this is perfection🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
@@sphesihleslingile6743 exactly!!!!!!!!
It sounds exactly same as the drama😅
She killed it!
I heard this piece when I was 5 and I thought it was cool so I tried it. I hit every note right away. Today I’m 12 and sang it in choir for my teacher. I’m in an all boys class. By the time I finished I left every person with their draw on the floor.
Omg you did so good girl well done💯
The Penthouse fam, where y'all at? I can't help but see cheon seo jin and oh yoon hee in this👀
Totally
I'm a choir girl and can't so you did good. It's that last part I can never dream of doing that you did perfectly.
You go girl. Love this
Everyone else:she has such a beautiful voice
Me:she’s drinking fiji water
I'm no expert, but I think you did a really great job for someone who doesn't sing opera. Were you classically trained at any point🙂? And I'm sure you're amazing overall 🙂
Very nice placement for that opera sound!
you sound so good. well done
No one
Literally no one
Me : trying it after the video and laughing hard just 2 seconds of singing not singing
I mean it's awesome for a first attempt but as an opera fan I can assure it was not clean at all...
That's what I'm saying tho. Comments in here being mad unrealistic/kiss assy lol
duh that's because it was her first time?!? it's obvious
@@floppyrin267 and she's a pop singer????
@@floppyrin267 why are you being rude? They were sharing their opinion. They even acknowledged it was her first time doing it, what are you on??
It’s her first time and she does pop mate
Actually that was impressive. Well done!
This is definitely my friend laughing💀
This was obviously practiced many times, but still great job!
she always say that it's her first try even though it's obviously not, but meh whatever makes her happy.
"Rip my vocal cords"
Rip my ears
You did that really well!
