I love the 80 more but my father likes the 90 Prado more he says the Prado 90 is alot modern and doesn’t feel that old. I've driven both on road and off road. 80 series 1hdt 12valve is better than 90 series in off-road. 80 series gives more mechanical trouble. 80 series is more powerful and has a better 4x4 as it's fully time 4x4. However if I were you I would definitely go for the 80 as it's my dream car and fulfils every condition. Would recommend the diesel variant of that. My grand father currently have the fzj80 4500 petrol 1fzfe and it does 3km/l in city and 6km/l on long route so would recommend the diesel variant as it's more economical and powerful. I'm 16 years old and I love land cruiser especially the 80 and 105. Other than that I also have a 1989 Pajero and 1990 Hilux ln106. Loved to see your passion for cars.

I'm from India and i truly respect your thoughts on Land cruiser , here in India too, toyotas are unbeatable specially fortuner, it sells like hot cakes. The biggest drawback is we have 15 year rule on diesel cars and hence life is limited to just 15 years which is a disrespect towards a toyota vehicle imho.
