I like Buddy's analogy of Billy having to pull the trigger. Coach hasn't just been loading the bullets for the past couple of years, he's had to take an old rusty firearm that's no longer in it's prime condition, restore and rebuild it to his(& others) standards. I'm personally excited to see what this year's Gator team can do. Go Gators!🐊🏈
I am feeing pretty good about our team this year. I also think Coach Napier is feeling pretty good about his team. Looking forward to Miami. I will be there. As far as schedule That is why we sing WE WON"T BACK DOWN every home game. Go Gators

Buddy is a legend in Gator country. I don't watch him as much as I should. Has he said what he thinks about doing away with the Gator bait chant?
I also think we’re heading in the right direction and have a better roster. I’ve also said we could have a much better team and still go 5-7 again with this schedule.
I am in agreement with this statement. Winning is hard , and losing games you should win is tougher. 2 games last season should have been wins but we found a way to lose them. If you find a way to pull out those games, then we aren’t stressing out about it this go around. Losing games are tough but I want to see how they compete in those losses. To me, that’s going to go along way for the future of Napier.
Really enjoy your podcast and I hope we can be patient with Billy Napier because he has had to build a skyscraper from the log cabin that was left to him.
Would've liked more than only HALF the show talking about Gator football instead of half of yall singing each other's praises so hard. Much respect to yall both tho to be sure.

That should’ve been a very easy interview with bozo the clown Billy I bet he learned a new couple circus moves. I bet he can juggle.
Everyone hates on the gators saying only 4 wins this year…..id like to hear what their teams would do if they had our schedule….can’t wait to shut all the haters up once and for all. This team I get a different feeling, like the last few years we didn’t know what to expect and the coaches were talking like we could be good we could be good and we disappointed for sure, but this year it just feels n different like the coaches are actually knowing we will be a lot better and doesn’t say anything. Can not wait till august and that 1st game vs Miami!!! We will all remember this year 2024 cause it will be the year the gators come back to life or…the year the gators have to start over once again. We will see but I’m feeling pretty confident 🐊🐊🐊🐊❤️💙❤️💙

@@smokey_gator_239 2025 we are going to be even better and possibly a top team with the young guys and the experience they’ll have had thru the bad years. Dj leading the way no way they will fire billy especially since we have a possibility of a qb that can change everything for us. And if billy goes then so should Scott Strickland and I think billy will get to 2025-2026 and that will be the year that will make it or break it. Just my thoughts and hopes
@@Gators1216 What do you mean by even better? They are a Vegas 5 win ream ranked 11 in the SEC. Billy already had a top 5 pick at QB and did nothing with him.
Also why do all the Napier lovers mention DJ as the only reason to keep Billy, you need a good head coach, not someone who is strapped to a 19 year old kid. Also with portal nowadays tons of QBs available every year just FYI. Billy is toast no matter how you want to spin it.
@@smokey_gator_239 Richardson couldnt complete a 5 yard pass without throwing it like a rocket. He didn’t have any passing game skills he was drafted that high on potential and I watched every single snap and play that guy was in at Florida. He had no touch. Dj lagway is a way better passer than Richardson and we have better weapons now compared to then as well. How many times have teams played above their potential???? Happens every year. Gators will be better this year and will be the best team since Kyle trask was playing. Bet on it
