I was saddened over the weekend at the sudden passing of a long-time friend and fellow Christian. Linda was like family to us. We thought she was on the road to recovery from chemo treatment after cancer surgery, but I guess her body had enough and the Good Lord had other plans. This was one of her favorite hymns, and if I had asked if she had any requests for me to sing, I'm certain this would have been the one she chose. I feel like she has found that higher ground for which we are all searching.
