Back in 1984, a reviewer in a Swedish rock mag dubbed "From Her To Eternity" the greatest album since Joy Division (most of the readrship of the paper had never heard the name Nick Cave). I'm not sure I would agree, but the guy was certainly right that Cave was one of the most original talents of the decade - and he's just kept on getting better.
I'm old, & have seen Nick mega times, & so many songs make me feel of the ridiculous road of regret, I'm on. Dunno why but I do like feeling the songs that hurt... strange ??
I've only seen him live once, but he's been there with me in the background right back from the Birthday Party days, when I used to listen to the John Peel show late in the evenings, to now - the true legend, icon and fully evolved matured and (in)credible talent he is. Play the 1987 live rendition of 'Stranger than Kindness' on here, back to back with the version he plays on the breathtaking 'Idiot Prayer' concert more recently. Just wow. And when the hell did he learn to play piano like that anyway?

Great selection of tunes. It's incredible what he had done to this point. It's 2022 now and he has done a lot in the five years since!
My comment, he gets better with age. He sings with so much emotion and talks with his body. I have watched all his video’s a lot.

I just recently discovered his music after hearing the name for years. Is he supposed to be a parody? He's just awful.
