As for charging a lithium, though not preferable, a regular charger that does not have a desulfurization mode will work so long as your battery has a full bms to protect it from overcharging. Also lithium’s don’t like trickle charging. Once a lithium has reached maximum charge, disconnect the charger from the battery. If you have a smart charger like the Optimate Tecamate lithium, it will stop charging automatically then check the voltage every 24 hours and top off if necessary.
How often does the battery go to sleep or need to be woke up? Planning on one for my gsxr and the sleep feature is perfect for storage. But say I wake it up and ride for an hour then turn it off for lunch dinner etc will it need to be woke up again?
Honestly I put the battery to sleep every time I get off of it. I ran the dongle down the spine of my sportster just under the seat. Acts as good security. Just press and hold the button for 3 seconds and it wakes it up or puts it to sleep. I don't really give it the chance to go to sleep on its own. I have noticed this battery whirls it over alot faster than led acid.
"do not use lead acid charger" the charger for this battery is built into the battery, if what your saying was true the charging system on the bike would fry it 😂
I agree with you, because the charging system on bike doesn't change. I told optima that didn't make sense either. I think it's just a money grab from optima.
P.S.the foam packing pads are also spacers for your battery.

With ur charger u can take the screws off the alligator clips so u can hook it up directly to ur battery… didn’t know if u knew that

So these are for side by sides and things like that , not good for car audio correct?
I haven't really looked into sxs's. I'm assuming functions like a normal battery as far as audio goes. That would be a good question for optima.
