We traveled to Galapagos Islands and it is indeed one of a kind place. I can say that the place has definitely exceeded my expectations!
Galapagos Islands are remote and extremely protected which makes wildlife the host of the island and not the people. We encountered abundant wildlife creatures such as sea turtles, sea lions, giant tortoises, hammerhead sharks, and blue-footed boobies.
I went to the Galapagos and want to share what I learned. I made a full travel plan for you. I have unique tips and will tell you about things that can go wrong that you do not find in other articles. It’s not all perfect like in the pictures! I also have real, unedited photos to show you what places truly look like. I spent over 3 weeks gathering all this info. I don’t work for a travel agency or sell tours, so my Galapagos travel guide is honest and fair. You’ll get the real story about traveling to the Galapagos Islands.

Your video is so informative, thank you so much!
Hey Oleg, I appreciate your video where you not only praise everything but also talk about your negative experiences. Thanks for the many advices! I‘m planning to go in December 2024
glad it was helpful, enjoy your trip!
Terrific, well organized and easy to follow your pleasant voice!
Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent and informative
Thank you!
Thank you so much for the cool advice!
No prob! Glad it was helpful
I arrived yesterday on Santa Cruz, my flight back is from Baltra again, but I will be os San Cristobal, so having to get back will make my stay shorter, bummer, I wish I had known one can fly back from San Christobal
Yeah that's a bummer indeed! Still, not the worst thing that could happen. Enjoy Galapagos!
Thank you, this is very informative! Appreciate this video
Glad it was helpful!
Canadian Ptushkin as my opinion! Good job man
Hi Oleg,
Thank you for so detailed itineraries! Could you please confirm which SIM card do you recommend using in Ecuador & Galapagos, the ESIM or a normal SIM? I found you referred to two source.. Thanks again!
Glad it was helpful. I've been travelling for 30 days throughout the Ecuador so I used local SIM from Movistar. ESIM was not working well.
May I know which month was your visit ?
It was October
do you know if there is private water taxis I can take between Isabela Island and San Cristobal, or taking the plane is the only option?
I don't think there is such a boat, I'd recommend taking plane because two boat rides is not the way you want to spend your day at the Galapagos.
What was the seasick medicine that you used while you traveled?
we used these ones: amzn.to/48RzaB8
Hi, which island did you like more Santa Cruz or San Cristobal? If you had to choose to spend a few days only in one of these two?
I'd choose San Cristobal due to its proximity to the airport in this case. Also, I loved San Cristobal more than Santa Cruz.
@@mytrip2somewhere564 Thanks.
I am planning my trip to the Galapagos and wanted to make sure Guayaquil is safe to travel to, can you let me know what you think? This video was very informative. Thank you :)
Can't say Guayaquil is the safe destination, you can check my previous video (go to Day 14 and 15 - czcams.com/video/eF2YBYCYF5M/video.html ) or read my article about how safe Guayaquil is: mytrip2ecuador.com/is-guayaquil-safe-for-tourists/ .
Enjoy your Galapagos trip!
Sea lions smell like a big protein fart but they're really entertaining with their antics and dramas.
haha true
