I love the G3 Series with the Glock channel sights can't beat them.
I agree. I’m hoping to call Taurus tomorrow.
I hate that this happen to you buddy, so exciting to get in a gun or part and then very disappointing when it doesn't work. A old Mechanics trick when dealing with lock tite. Take a proper hammer and the Torx / Phillips whatever fits the screw or bolt, and give it a few smacks. Lock tite hardens after drying, and those few smacks will break the seal most of the time. Good luck buddy.
Good suggestion! I didn’t expect them to be gorilla torqued down. I know now and heck, even the included part failed
That was disappointing. I had been hoping Taurus would make this happen. I ended up getting tired of waiting, got rid of all my Taurus autos and built a Dagger. I did get a 605 TORO and I'm trying to get used to it. Thanks for the video!

I got a Taurus G3c Toro about a year and a half ago. I put a ADE DELTA red dot on it. Basically a budget friendly first optic gun to see if I even liked red dots on pistols. At first I wasn't finding the dot easily, took some practice. I don't carry it because I need an optic with shake awake. Still prefer the iron sights. But it is fun at the range.

Hey Travis looking to getting a bear gun for Kentucky Bears while out on their Trail or camping. Can't make mind up between 45 ACP or 10 mm what would you choose? I've been pushing between the Smith and Wesson 10mm or the Tisas sds 1911 10mm the prices are about the same which one would you pick out of those?
I love how i come across this video not even a half hour after stripping the same bolt on my G3 Toro conversion slide. Unfortunately i do not have the patience to send this back to shop taurus so i will attempt to remove the bolt. If anyone has any ideas how i can remove the bolt please LET ME KNOW!!!
Drill it our, carefully. You may be able to buy a kit thay taps into a stripped screw and then back it out.

Had the same concern with my gen 5 g19 mos. One screw would not come out of cover plate but Glock took care of it and turn around time was 10 days. Things like this will happen in any factory setting building any type of mechanical product.
I understand they want it tight from the factory but 100 inch/lbs is a bit ridiculous
Will you be sending it directly to Taurus or to the distributor that also sells other aftermarket parts that you mentioned?
Back to Shop Taurus. Taurus also sells Lakeline LLC products but they don’t make the slide. Lakeline makes barrels, striker springs guide rods and recoil springs, etc.
So Shop Taurus is like Glock Store.
