The city serves as the headquarters of Kasur District, and is located near the border with neighbouring India & is further bordered to Lahore , Nankana Sahab & Okara District of Punjab Province
Kasur derives its name from the Arabic word qasur meaning “palaces,” or “forts.” Hindu traditions claim that Kasur was founded by, and named for, Prince Kusha of the Ramayana, son of the Hindu deities Rama and Sita.

She was gentle, kind, and the most beautiful woman. We couldn't get married because her parents didn't approve our marriage due to religion .It has been 32 years and I remember her often. I was going through some Indian food channels and stumbled upon this channel. Initially I thought it's another Indian food channel. But slowly realized I am watching a Pakistani food channel. But it was such a pleasure to see this food channel and was really touched by the great thoughts of the creator. Love from India🇮🇳 and wish that one day India 🇮🇳 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 can once again merge together and slap hard on the evil design of British to partition this great nation.
