    Rope drop for sure, leaving mid day and also staying late in the evening! Taking advantage of extra evening hours! I love all your Disney content!

    Our July/August Disney strategy the past two years has been: rope drop early entry, head back to the resort around 1 or 2 to cool down, and then head back to the parks around 5ish.
    We’re not pool people but we’ll usually take a quick shower to feel refreshed and then hang out at the resort for a few hours. The kids love going to the arcade or community room if there is one at the resort. I will also use that time to do laundry if needed and will stack lightning lanes for the evening. On the nights where there are extended evening hours or other night event we will take a longer break before heading out for that.
    Also -most days this mid-day break helped us avoid the afternoon thunderstorms.

      this was also so helpful!! I love hearing the different strategies because we have never been with 4 people during the hot months!

    Rope drop, leave around 11-12 for the hotel or lunch, head back around 6pm! Definitely recommend linen shorts or tops, light colors, and I pack hard candy to eat if I feel yucky from the heat. Hope you have the best time! ✨

      having the hard candy is such a great idea too!

    Definitely rope drop, back to the hotel for nap/swim, and then back out in the evening!

    We go to WDW 3-4x a year & always in August. We have 3 kids, 4 & under so we always rope drop in August, then head back after lunch for pool/nap/rest. Then back to parks for a few hours at night. We typically stay at a deluxe in August & love to utilize the pools/splash pads.

      we are also staying deluxe and we are happy to have those amenities to use in the warm months!

    I went to Disney in 2019 at the end of August/early Sept for 10 days! I was celebrating my birthday. It rained only TWICE. IT WAS EXTREMELY hot- I've vowed to never go in the summer months again lol but with A/C, pools, water parks, breaks, ETC I know the magic will still be alive. Loved this video

    I just got back from an 8 night trip last week, and it was obviously not as late in the summer but it was getting up to 100 degrees some days and what we found was perfect is we rope dropped and then we would go back to the resort from about 1-5 ish and then go back into the parks at night until closing usually :)

    • @BriannaTata
      @BriannaTata  Před 2 dny

      that afternoon break is so important, and we do that in the not too hot months, however we will 100% do that in the afternoon this trip!!

    Going to Disney during the summer months, I typically go one of two ways. Either spending the morning/afternoon at the hotel and pool and then head to the parks late afternoon/evening or rope drop, pool break at 1pm and then back late afternoon. This way you can stay out of the heat while also experiencing shorter wait times and stacking lightning lanes for the day!

    • @arielramirezzzzz
      @arielramirezzzzz Před 10 dny

      how long is travel time from park to hotel typically?

    • @kaitlyndirk9011
      @kaitlyndirk9011 Před 10 dny

      @arielramirezzzzz
      It truly depends on your hotel and mode of transportation! Each hotel is typically about 10-15 minutes by bus to and from the parks. Some could be shorter, including the All Star Resorts being about 5-7 minutes from Animal Kingdom.
      However, some hotels on the Skyliner line can take 20-30 minutes with waiting and distance to either Hollywood Studios or Epcot.
      It’s also important to note busses usually come around every 20 or so minutes. Hope this was helpful :)

    When are you going in August! I am going in August too!

    I think I’m partial to rope drop, break in the afternoon (even just a quick shower and a few Mickey cartoons in the room), and then going back to something in the evening. Disney has so much AC! Rides, restaurants, shopping etc! It’s not too bad if you go from AC to AC imo😂. Definitely have reservations when it’s hot if you’re not going to go back to your room! I’m always hearing people at the hostess stand begging for a last minute spot cause it’s hot but they’re booked!

    • @BriannaTata
      @BriannaTata  Před 2 dny

      we have some dining reservations! so that would be great for the AC breaks too.

    Hey Brianna. Loved the video as always. Have you thought to get contact patch allergy testing done? I had skin symptoms like yours that would pop up which I couldn't explain. I got tested with an allergist and it turns out I am allergic to an ingredient (Linalool) which I've never heard of until now. Turns out it was in so much of the skincare, haircare and fragrance I was using. After getting the allergy diagnosis and avoiding the ingredient my skin has been so much better. You may be allergic to a common ingredient like that or limonene, carba mix, etc. there''s a bunch of weird chemicals that people can unknowingly be allergic to

    • @BriannaTata
      @BriannaTata  Před 2 dny

      I have never thought about getting it done, since I went to the dermatologist and they said that it was eczema, however maybe in the future I would think about it for sure!
