A few things. Carl Barks, who invented Scrooge and his environment, used to drive from Oregon down to Prescott to sign limited edition posters of his artwork. The printing company here in Prescott (my home town) was called...Another Rainbow. The Latin, Scrooge's motto, translates as "Fortune Favors the Bold". Essentially, Scrooge, who starts as a shoeshine boy in Glasgow, comes to America to seek his fortune. After traveling the world, he eventually hits paydirt during the Yukon goldrush. There he makes the choice between riches and the only love of his life, the dancehall girl and saloon owner Glittering Goldie o'Gilt. A fateful choice that leaves him forever wondering What Might Have Been. Carl Barks created all this and Don hugely expands upon it. This is not kid stuff.
I just love seeing the pictures of Tuomas with such a big smile on his face a man like Tuomas with such talent feeling like a kid with his dream come true meeting one of his icons someone he loves and admires. Shows me no matter how good you are and how far to the top you get you're as human and normal as the rest of us.
The sketches are Don Rosa originals from the time he designed the original comic pages. I'm not sure about most comic artists but Don Rosa used to draw similar things to movie storyboards for his comics and these sketches are the storyboard for one of the stories. If you can find a copy of the original Don Rosa books, it's definitely worth checking out. You can easily get those comic books as new today here in Finland but the captions will be written in Finnish. The anniversary version with all the stories in a single 453 page hardcover book costs 45 EUR here in Finland. It seems that Amazon is selling hardcover version with English captions called "The Complete Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Deluxe Edition" for 110 USD.

Yes...this is about Scrooge to find gold in Klondike and Alaska area. The whole story of Scrooge is on the album...Tuomas divided his life in chapters and made a song for every one on the album. Don Rosa illustrated the story and artwork. Great tribute to Don and Scrooge.

Floor with all her talent couldn't rise above the bad writing of her former band .. The best thing that happened to her was mistreatment of the 2nd Nightwish singer... I had tickets to see them on tour ... By the time the tour got around she was the singer. Anettes moment to shine never happened. Imaginarium was a success and Floor took the victory Lap at "WACKEN Open Air"...
