    Such a great share when you are just starting to get back into Onggi.
    I will be covering my tools with chamois leather as I have noticed a number of folk using covered 방망이 in videos
    Thanks for sharing!
    Cheers...Freddie

    바닥자를때 먼저 물래를 최대속도로 돌리고 한점에 대서 잘라야 합니다. 발로 돌리며 칼을 대면 흔들려서 안됩니다. 바닥에서 1미리만 틀어져도 위에서는 엄청 흔들리게 됩니다..매우 중요합니다.

    Hi thank you for the informative video. I've only just noticed the onggi master video is on your channel. It's amazing, did you film it yourself?

      @leesaewon Před rokem +1

      Yes, shot it myself when I went to his studio in 2018. Thank you for watching!

    Thanks! it was very helpful. The small things that it's hard to see/understand when watching a video of an onggi master working.
    Do you know if there's a place online to buy such tools? (if I can't make them myself at the moment).

      Thank you for watching! The round tool, Dokae? I think you can buy all three tools at Korean pottery suppliers in Korea but if you are outside Korea, it would be difficult. Most onggi makers make their own.

    I don't know English, I hope it is well translated..
    I wonder what type of ball bearings the lathe has and do the wheels have to be made of wood for some particular reason or is it better if they were made of cement?
    I like your videos

      Hello Aisha, Thank you for watching. Sorry, it's very difficult to understand the translation. Are you asking about the kick wheel? I have made a video about it.

    Huh, you don't have the score the bottom and the wall together? Also what kind of clay body is that?

    • @leesaewon
      @leesaewon Před rokem +1

      Hello, I didn’t score because it was for the purpose of a quick demo of the tools. I can’t remember the clay exactly, it looks like terracotta.

      @@leesaewon actually watched a couple other videos. Seems you don't need to if it's soft enough. Thanks for answering my question anyway.
