Cool stuff. Though there wouldn't be a yellow or white spinel.. Yellow spinel is very uncommon and likely only yellow because it had a strange discoloration from he race element that creates a yellow appearance, but only because it was a redish orange that faded. White spinel, amazingly is almost impossible unless lab grown. There are SOME nearly colorless spinel, but there's still a trace of pink or blue. That last one would be black spinel for sure. And her psycho persona might not be quite like that...ruby and sapphire, afterall are the SAME stones. Only difference is re trace element, -but in this fiction sapphire is a psychic princess and icey/detached while ruby is basically a passionate meat headed tom-boy. Applying this logic, the different spinel would be drastically different personalities with drastically different neuroticism. If that was pink, I'd say blue would be a know-it all awkward bookish type with a shadow side of needing to be needed so she would insidiously sabotage her friends to get even maybe. Black would be a quirky scientist with secret service background and the crazy they might have is.....being overprotective or even overbearing wanting to control everything....or worse....hacking into the security systems and locking everyone inside a building while being impossible to find. This is afun subject to brainstorm.
@@sanjuanagarciareyna63 I was geeking tf out, drawing connections between the ACTUAL stone, know as Spinel (the sister/cousin stone to Sapphire/Ruby) in the scientific sense and the metaphysical characteristics attributed to that stone and how that COULD apply or correspond to the character 'Spinel' from Steven Universe. Thats assuming the writer had any 'real' interest in stones from a scientific or metaphysical perspective.
