Very famous Swiss passes and are about 3 hours away from me so I go down every now and then. Absolutely out of this world views.
One of the best bike routes in the world. That cyclist was a bit mental, I bet he was not so cocky going up the passes 🤣🤣🤣

Your the luckiest Scot alive! Some of my favourite roads. That waterfall tunnel on Susten is spectacular. Rode it on a rented CRF1000 when my Tiger 1050 shat it's reg/rec.
Was this a day trip for you, or did you overnight?
I left home late (0930) and got home at 2230 the same day. I obviously stopped and hung about a few times just looking at heaven but aye very easy in a day trip. Blessed mate and trying to not waste it. Cheers Stevie, no more shatting bikes tho 🤣

Them cyclists are feckin mad. My mate was doing that down Alp d'Huez and came off. Got permanent scars all down his side now that look like burns. The crash barrier on the bend stopped him going over the edge, which was a pretty big drop before it turned into a slope. He still goes down them like a twat now.

I hope you spoke to Lance Armstrong on the first descent! He is my hero! Wish he had was able to compete in the triathlons in his post bicycle career. Think the word of him. Sad he had to admit to using whet everyone else was doing, as he still won. You can cheat as all sports do, but you still have to win!

@@GermanJobbies ok, just came back about 3 hours ago, and did them, all 3 in a row. And of course I forgot my action cam helmet mount at home :)))). Insane, I was numbed, overexposed and completely short circuited. The roads, the scenery, insane. Going up Susten I had this dark, cloudy, foggy, sun rays coming trough, dark wet stone all around ... I wasn't really sure it is real or I'm still sleeping. BUT I managed them, at a pretty feisty pace and I noticed that the more aggressive I road the more enthusiastic salutes I would get from the sport bikes guys ... I know I know, striking the ego and all. But hell, I needed it because yesterday 5 mins before I arrived (did an overnight stay) I manage to drop it doing the bane of my existence, U turn on a "two cars can't fit on it" narrow, heavily inclined alpine road. My brain still thinks I need to lean as I would on a leveled one.

@@GermanJobbies crash bars did their job, need to touch them up a bit and the rest you need to know where to look to see, so no issues (except my ego ). Weather was too good I would say, 20 + degrees up and 26 down, I would have liked a little less actually. And yeah, I guess I need to go again to film ... oh nooo :)))
