One year, 2000 KM of hard trail riding and high speed runs. In this video I discuss the things i Love and the things i Hate about the 2021 Brute Force 750.
I’ve had mine 10 years. Use it around the farm. Just replace the belt with 110 hrs. I do pull some weight with the machine. I agree it’s bulletproof. Just change the oil regular and zero issues. I’d like better lights too but don’t drive much at night. Great machine.
What’s crazy is the Teryx LED lights are a direct replacement for the terrible Brute lights. Direct plug & play. They could easily add those in and should.
May want to try 27" zillas - 23 and 28 lbs I think (on 14"rims... not sure the weight on 12" rims).. wear very well for bias ply, good in mud and rock and trail, light enough to wheelie and accelerate without undue strain on drive components, no clutching needed. I've had zillas on 4 of our 5 brutes over 15 years riding on them. I initially had XTRs one one (they were heavier but ok) and ITP 589s on another (great in mud, but like driving a tractor on the road and heavy as Eff, reduced acceleration... dumped them after 25 kms
Ancla I thought was pretty light at 26 inch. I was thinking of trying to get the 28s on 14 inch wheels. I hear ancla tires are fantastic in muck and snow. This true? They plow good? How's the reverse traction? Maybe a clutch kit is in your future? Yeah those lights are a real sick joke.
after some thought, they are actually a great tire, i just got the impression after riding both bikes they weigh considerably more than stock [of course] but there may be better lighter options. they wear very well, almost none in the year or so i had them. they plow very well and reverse traction never ever let me down. cant clutch until warranty os gone. you want to see anclas in action, check the video i dropped today
i was very VERY VERY careful that the top of the thumb paddle did not bind at all on the metal above it. You 130% DO NOT want it to be even close to binding as it could end very very badly if the throttle was stuck on due to the thumb extender binding.
@@AE821 I've done it on both my and wife's brutes. I seem to remember some very fussy adjustments. If in doubt please err on the side of caution. Someone needs to 3d print an option that is less shit than the Kolpin which even on Amazon reviews has accounts of people going WOT with them as a result of not careful installing. KNOW WHERE EMERGENCY SHUT OFF is.
I bought a “Thumb Buddy” throttle extender, same concept, but it uses tie wraps to attach, which seemed like a hokie way to attach it, but it works just fine, no clearance issues.
I love the four-wheeler but it keeps climbing in price and they keep giving us the same quad since 2004. Update the suspension in a couple small things and they would have a winner again easily competing with the best from every other brand. I don't get the Honda reference I own a 2021 Rubicon and they've had it in mud up to the seat and I have probably the same mileage on mine nothing's come close to breaking I'm also $275 lb and 6 ft 3 she doesn't get babied and it just keeps asking for more brute force as faster of course based on engine size but if you want to go ahead ahead with resale value and who will last the longest my money would go with the Honda all day long
I grew up with a guy that still says, "FULL...This and FULL that..." - "Full racks, full Go-Pro mounts, full suspension..." I always add, "Full tires, yeah the machine has FULL gas...Full everything..." People crack me up...
I’m not sure what you mean by we don’t drive them like we’re driving Honda’s? I honestly don’t know what you mean. You go on to say we drive them hard, we drive them fast. So I’m just not sure what you meant by that. No bike has taken more beatings than an ol 250big red and I don’t see you riding any faster than I do, so I’m just not sure what you meant by that unless your just trying to get Mitch and I rowled lol 🍻 great video so nice location.
I guess your comparing the speed to whatever Hondas fastest quad is idk what they do 75-80km/h ? But the talon will keep up with ya 😉 And yeah, I guess I did hear you say “in its class” at one point.
@@BruteforceExplorer good answer! I agree I’m not brand specific but it is fun to aggravate each other. Who knows what my next machine may be?? Depends what’s on the market in a couple few years when I’m ready to upgrade.

i should investigate those lights. thank you
I have a 21 as well. Zero issues so far. And I'm not easy on it.
attaboy. get er done

thanks for the heads up. ill look into them!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
What gps/program do you use? Can you do a review on it? Looking for good one at moment for riding here in Florida.
im rockin an old cellphone with Polaris Ride command now. I posted a vid of the entire setup on my channel :)
The 300 are really nice quads too, did some logging with one
ya? In my recent video at the local Motorsports show I include video of the 300
I have a 2022 and is awesome 👍
Congrats on the bike!

Just purchased the Koplin Throttle Master Thumb Extender. Did you have to make any adjustments to make it fit properly?

@@BruteforceExplorer Exact problem I'm having with it rubbing the metal throttle housing above so I didn't complete the installation.

@@stevewalcott9546 Thanks. I'll have to check those out.
how do they start in the cold? like below zero cold? How quiet at low speed?
started mine last weekend at -16 Celcius, fired right up. They are relatively quiet.
When it’s wet out, do you notice on a decline when the engine break kicks in the belt squeals?
Not at all.
@@BruteforceExplorer No such issue.

Honda reference is me teasing one of my buddies who has a Honda. Honda is king for reliability.

@@BruteforceExplorer Only joking around, but yeah - We all have our "isms" Lol - I say, "So" before every sentence...So, that drives my wife crazy.
"Throw some fucking LED's in there!!" lol. i bought my Brute brand new in 2012 without any problems. Original belt also.
Yeah man LEDs are the way to go

damn. you must not have a belt to worry about ;)

Love your content! Still trying to decide between a Brute and a Grizzly…?
Aok
Thanks Larry!. Ship that HD up north to me yet? :)
A bike 😂😂😂😂😂 ATV isn't a "bike"
I have been riding both ATVs and motorcycles so long I have earned the right to use the word interchangeably. Like share subscribe
