London.
Various shots of traffic moving along Euston Road. Lorries, coaches, cars etc. Shots of traffic driving down into an underpass. More good traffic shot - the camera appears to be in the middle of the road.

Almost every car and truck was built in Britain, how times have changed !
Same with almost every person!
Almost as if there were import tariffs before 1973.
That's exactly where this country went wrong we started making s*** full stop the pride went out of the job and we started the decline of selfish narcissistic greed.

Safe to assume they're all gone apart from the Porsche at 4:31, The Rolls Royce and Maybe the Mercedes because I'm not sure how long they had to be taxed for. I don't think any sane person would scrap the 66 Jaguar either. It wouldn't give me any details on the 60s cars but cars older than 1984 don't have to be taxed so maybe they delete the information gradually.
Even though they'll have been rusty and high mileage by the mid 80s I think I'd have held on to my 60s or 70s car if I was alive because 80s cars looked absolutely rubbish
That's right outside the old Capital radio building, Euston Tower, "Useless tower" Kenny Evertt
Circa 1974 - newest car was a MK2 Ford Capri.
and each persons only means of communication miles from home was if they could find a pay phone that worked or ask somewhere. scary huh ;)
No 20mph limits, no ulez or congestion charge. Must of been paradise 😂
shame all those vehicles long rusted away! the road looks the same now but traffic is much slower!
Thank you for this-most enjoyable too!!
Brilliant, look how clean the roads were. Not spoilt with various contractors digging them up 10months of the yr. Oh some of those classic cars ❤️
Loving all the Triumphs 👍
Ah, the days when expeditious movement of vehicular trafgic wasn't seen as a crime and transport plannkng was geared to the market that exists, not the one that the ideologues wished existed.
Before TfL appeared and fckd the roads into perpetual gridlock
I wonder if any of those cars are still on the road?
You could jot down all the registrations and then go on MOT checker DVLA.

I'm going to put this in a separate comment aswell because that took ages
Why does the speed double at 5:12?
4:22 - yellow Morris Marina HLC 389N. Registered 1st February 1975 and has been Tax Due since 1st August 1987.
Can't see any plates newer than N, so this clip must be from between then and July 31st 1975.
(I originally misread it as HLC 369N - which happens to be a red Allegro registered on the same date).
I'd say this was filmed late 1974/early1975.
Just think how rare and valuable that 1974 ford transit Luton van would be now, happy days.
Mmmm, just smell those leaded petrol emissions... Takes me right back.
4-star and unburnt diesel particulates. Even a shower wouldn't wash away a day on the bike in London.
mostly around 1975 going by the car reg plates
There's a yellow Marina HLC 389N registered 1st February 1975. I can't see any plates more recent than N (maybe someone else can) but N ended its run on July 31st 1975.
Can't seem to get a clear look at any other N plates on here to narrow it down sadly.
Everything was very grubby in the 70s
Beam me back please,I want to be a car Thief.
All that and not one BMW on fire at the side of the road.🤔
Bmw anywhere??
Yes at 6.01 a BMW 2800 or 30s .
a few Renaults, Fiats and even a couple of Ladas. All looking grimy covered with pollution and thoroughly unsafe.
Only one Audi.
