Bengaluru City To Bengaluru Airport By Train in 15 Rupees | Kempegowda International Airport Halt

- The halt station located 3.5km from the KIA terminal was built by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) at a cost of around Rs 3 crore and aimed at benefiting 28,000 airport employees as well as passengers. BIAL also operated free shuttle bus services between the station and terminal. The train ticket fare is between Rs 10 and Rs 15.
Many of you don't know an alternate mode of transport to the airport.
Their is a lesser known mode of transport to the airport, a train that takes you there in 90 minutes for just 15 rupees.

ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ. ಏರ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಬೇಕು. ಲಗ್ಗೇಜ್ ನಾವೇ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಕ್ಯಾಬ್ ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಮೀಪ ಹೋಗಬಹುದು. ಬಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯಾಬ್ ಗೆ ತಗಲುವ ಸಮಯ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಗೆ ಕ್ಯಾಬಲ್ಲೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಸೇರಿಸಿ.
Use metro for travelling to railway satations
This is mostly useful to ppl from outside Bangalore. Since their starting point will be sbc/any other train station. Quite obviously Bangaloreans may not know this because they have to get in a cab to reach sbc, they might as well travel to the airport.
you do realize that taking a cab all the way to the airport which is 50km from the city is an entirely different league than just taking a cab to majestic...
A more likely reason is that if people wanted to use public transport to get to the airport, they'll simply take a Vaayu Vajra. They wouldnt consider going in train due to either lack of information or doubtfulness of the punctuality of these trains
