- Zelda and Link are back at it again with their crazy shenanigans. Learning from last time, Link decided to take it nice and slow when it came to saving Cassandra. But was this really the right approach to take?
At long last, we have the sequel to “Zelda is maaad”. Overall I think it came out well, though as a creator I’m probably the most critical of my own work. As such, I’ll leave it for my audience to decide if they think it’s good or not. Regardless, I hope y’all are able to get some enjoyment out of it!
Big thanks to Kiera Rhodes for returning for her role as Cassandra! She really makes the character what she is here, and her voice just lends to the character and situations she’s in so well. I’m honored to have her on, and can only hope to keep working with her in the future. All the amazing art was also made by her!
And of course, thanks to my main man Ennos for being stellar as usual. No surprise there, given his track record. You're great dude.

@@CebGIN There have been many calamities coming in 10,000 year cycles, at least three have happened, one before the seikah since they knew about and countered it, the ones the sheikah dealt with and the one in BoTW, so like a minimum of 30,000 years.

@@egbertmilton4003If Link failed to stop Ganondorf, all of Hylia would have been destroyed, so everyone who was still alive by the end were people saved by Link. Ganondorf in TotK is a lot stronger than Calamity Ganon, so following Cassandra's advice to do everything he can to ensure victory, doing everything he can to get any slight edge while waiting to see if Ganondorf chills out is a solid strategy

Considering Link’s affinity for war crimes and his diverse weaponry knowledge alongside his super human battle abilities I’d say he would be a good son of Athena (or Ares if you don’t consider the picture of his father and sister as canon).

Okay Link can do all that stuff and beat him in no more than 2 years. He just wont admit he was being lazy. Probably just spent 8 years making useless crap with Ultrahand.
In Links defense, it took Casandra, what remained of Hyrule’s defenses, *and* the remaining untainted Sheikah technologies- including the location where he was literally being kept alive- an entire century just to prepare for him doing all the heavy lifting, and that essentially turned the entire country into a no man’s land. Forgive the man for taking a decade to do what they all did in ten times that.
Ikr. They literally say our last line of defense is link. Give the guy a break he’s hard carrying the entire country. Literally every npc can’t even deal with their own lives without this guy
i think it was more of a situation in which they were waiting a century for link to be well enough to even be somewhat capable of being the hero, after healing in the shrine of resurrection. he essentially died.
and even then, the shrine wasn’t able to give him all his memories back, and he had to work to become strong enough to as much as pull the sword.

@@IAmBored654after you beat the game, there’s not “post-game content.” You just get sent back to the moment before you fight the final boss. Really nothing special.
Which also just makes it so you cant do anything after you save Cassandra. It’s quite literally only able to be done _before_ you save her
Also, Link's arm fully heals, and becomes normal ,so he can't activate the Zonia stuff anymore
Yeah, that sucks. I was hoping there was unlockable content post-Ganon, instead of a retrograde save point.
I hope we get a direct sequel to this game just so that the Cassandra storyline gets the trilogy it deserves

You don't understand, Cassandra, there was a mayoral election in Hanto Village and a really fancy hat was on the line. It was an emergency, I mean it, I had exactly zero mushroom attire. I was so out of fashion and I needed that hat to make it right. And then I had to take a long look at myself and come to terms with my "bromance" with Sidon. Do you have ANY idea how cutting it was when he got married and became king? What I had to give up for his responsibilities to his kingdom? Do you think that took a day to emotionally recover from? That takes a lot of time to get over, Cassandra. And the Koroks needed to be subjected to war crimes. Don't ask me about it, they know what they did. Justice for their actions had to be served, it simply could not wait. So yeah, it took a decade.

I love how this and the last video showed the two types of players that play Zelda.
Those who throw caution to the wind and speed run right to the end and those who get completely sidetracked by the side missions that they forget to do the main quest.

I feel like the next logicsl progression is for Link to save Cassandra on "Game Journalist" mode where he defeats Gannon "as intended" but doesnt have the "challenging heros journey" so Cassandra is pissed she watch him basically cruise through but no one else tried to help her if it was so easy.

There's no genuine timestamp according to raruh. Purah gives an educated guess of a few months. However based on how time works in hyrule and an in game clock thats the equivalent of roughly... a years worth?
In my first playthrought wich I 50 percented with all the main quests I got 16 blood moons.
I guess if we calculate the days between blood moons we could calculate the medium of an average playthrough lenght in in-game time
In Link's defense, if Gloom managed to destroy the master sword so easily, then imagine what it would do to the rest of Hyrule's weapons and armor? Link was fighting a war against the demon king with little more than rusty scrap metal!
