I own this car, it's an Avantgarde Sport, with a 6 speed gearbox. 4 years now; the speed, comfort and handling are top notch, you will enjoy it on a long distance drive.
I used to own one with sport package in silver. It was a great car! It really eats up the highway miles, comfortable to drive with plenty of power from the engine. The breaks are really firm and solid on this car.

@@gvaspirated for sure! I almost regrettably got rid of it for a newer Mercedes-Benz with more technology and improved fuel efficiency.

I own one too, a 4Matic Arctic white with a beige interior, I absolutely love this car! Still looks awesome today, with enough power to be confident on highways (pulls pretty well though). And most importantly, it's reliable and simple to work on. I change my oil and recently changed the front brakes with no problems. Drives smoothly, has very comfortable seats and I like that car is slightly lowered so you have a lower center of gravity which gives more control in cornering.

I got it 2 years ago, for 10k, and I would not give it to anybody, becouse I love it... BTW I got Iridium silver color ...
I am looking at one now, less than 50K miles but 10 almost 11 years old, worried about oil leaks, etc., you had any problems in particular?
@@Chatsworth1979 I haven’t heard of oil leaks on this model. It has a great engine.

This video is very informative.
The little compartment for the screen is perfect as it helps the vehicle retain longevity.. those terrible screens cant be hidden in most vehicle yet one still needs to configure some settings for whatever.

I would say that the silver color (over the gold/champagne) looks the best!
Sprint booster , xentry mod and manual mode with paddles wakes these cares up
These cars are made to drive 150 MPH on German Autobahn. So they need to be as sophisticated in suspension and other parts.
@@michaelqu A stock C300 in Europe goes up to 250 km/h = 155 MPH and is governed then.

I don't know if you could only get the 300, 350 and 63 in the USA. But in other country's smaller models where also available like the 180, 200, 250.
Yeah it's limited to those numbers only. I'm assuming that the US gets the bigger engines and that's why don't see the 1.8 or the 2.0's
Going to look at one next weekend 96k miles 11k sounds good just worried about the cost of maintenance

Infosystem is archaic- seriously dude- this car has the most impressive sound i have heard in any car i have ever owned- if you have the multimedia premium sound. The sound is out of this world- and mine still sounds as good as the day i bought it 9 years later.
Yeah, excluding the interior, it's still a solid looking, sounding and driving car!

I like the 2012 because of the refresh exterior and interior. I'm not sure how much better in terms of reliability it is because of the engine.

There is a 2010 C300 for $9000 at a dealership. It has 132k miles. Does this sound worth it?
I'd get it checked out before or after the sale just to be sure. I don't hear much issues with these c300, but then again mine was 52k miles
You could also get the c200 in Australia. The 1.8 supercharged 4cyl. Never, on any channel can you find a review on this. Maybe its because its an Australian only released car.
It is everywhere in Europe as well.

Damn, 5K?! Man I wouldn't touch it if it has frame damage or rust. If you pick it up for 5k only, I can't see you getting screwed over heavily... Especially at that price...Id do pre-purchase inspection for engine and transmission.

is there bluetooth ? and are the speakers good?
this is a base option when it comes to comfort/convenient. These models could have been spec with both bluetooth and better speakers. The basic speakers are ok but wont give you a bOMBASTIC experience. They're kinda quite even on boost mode.

I believe they came standard with Bluetooth for phone calls but it didn’t handle streaming music via Bluetooth.
We recently bought a 2010 C300 with 71k miles (4matic). I got a Bluetooth to radio adaptor that plugs into the 12v cigarette lighter and just programmed one of the stereo presets to the same frequency… a cheap way to add Bluetooth audio. Note, there is a hidden 12v plug in the glovebox and I moved the adaptor in there so it’s hidden. It works just fine. There is also a “secret” aux plug behind an access panel next to the glovebox. It can be routed to the glovebox easily, but I am not sure what point it would serve.
what about reliability
I test drove a 09 c300 4matic thingy the gas pedal was stiff ia that normal for mercedes? The gas pedal on my 2017 charger daytona is soft AF
