I'm going to Arizona this summer. I had a strange dream last night. I was asking my grandmother (whose deceased and by the way never been to Arizona) which site I should go to. She said to go to the Holy Chapel.

I truly enjoyed this video. You did a Great Job. Thanks for zooming in on Gods Glorious Creations. I've never seen such beautiful cacti and the red mountains and the fact that they used the pebbles from that site to incorporate into building materials for walkways and walls. They're beautiful. I loved your sarcasm 😂 when you spoke about that rich pad over yonder with the white washed circular roofs. Trump or the Pope Eh!?😂😂 You got a very good shot of the very brown skinned Our Lord Jesus Christ. Excellent short documentary!! 💯❤❤❤👌🏾🔥🙌🏾

    Great vid!
That mansion at the base of the chapel was actually built by the doctor who discovered the LASIK eye surgery technique...when I was there in Feb 2019 I was told that he was going though a divorce and the property would probably be sold...so I’m not sure if he still owns it or not?

A chapel is a Christian place of prayer and worship that is usually relatively small, and is distinguished from a church. ... The earliest Christian places of worship are now often referred to as chapels, as they were not dedicated buildings but rather a dedicated chamber within a building.
Unlike a church, a chapel is a place of worship that has no pastor or priest and no permanent congregation; it's all about the physical space. In the classic sense, it's usually smaller than a church-sometimes just a room-and can be within a church itself or in a secular place like a hospital or airport.

I'm disappointed that you could not focus more on the Christ in the cross. Chris's eyes will forever be planted on my brain.

I really enjoy the NON-LIVE videos that you post. Your filming and your commentary make them very enjoyable. On the other hand, the LIVE videos are of such poor quality (I understand the lack of good internet reception), that it is nearly impossible to watch them. Please just record and then upload. They are too good to waste on poor quality. Show us more.

i am so curious - why is Jesus displayed on a ratty/real tree. Traditionally Jesus was supposed to be on a clean cross, as tho' clean cut. ????

This a church built on faith and the emotions it inspires in believers not a museum worried about accuracy. This is what the pastor that commissioned it wanted. Recalling the teaching of the Church Fathers that referred to the cross as the “Tree of Life,” he noted that “just as sin and death entered the world by means of a tree - the tree of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, so merciful redemption, and new life, enters our world through the love of Christ, poured forth on what we call the Tree of Life.
The cross of the chapel’s crucifix is made to look like a tree, with two trunks under the altar representing the 10 tribes of Israel and the two tribes of Judah. As it continues up, surrounding the tabernacle, the Israel trunk is dead, but “this dead limb of Israel that’s broken off becomes a crossbeam for the Tree of Life,” said Fr. Kleczewski. From the limb is a single leaf sprouting to life representing the Gentiles. The Judah branch continues and bears 12 leaves, representing the Apostles, and three golden apples at the top that represent the Holy Trinity.
