I have fixed multiple JNC 660. It's usually the battery, a broken or fried negative/positive cable for us. For batteries, I've been able to recondition and recharge them. So far, it's worked for me. For the batteries I couldn't get to stay charged, I've been turning in for "recycling". Just watched a video on CZcams on how to possibly fix that.

sorry for the delay in replying. when i hooked the battery up i was looking for a change in the voltage draw. in this case there was no draw indicating the battery had a internal short and did not complete the circut
If your charging w/120V your transformer is probably shot. 2nd place (less probable) is the charging board (upper left small circuit board when you look at the opened back).
A friend of mine charges his on his van battery for a few mins and it worked for quite a while .. He gave the charger to me ( same as yours) to use to charge all my stuff & for jumping my van. I tried charging it like he did - noticed it SMELLED like ROTTEN EGGS!! WHAT'S THAT? VAN BATTERY IS BRAND NEW- DON'T THINK IT'S MY VAN BATTERY!?? DUNNO! SCARY & WEIRD! Will it Blow up??? I'm not going to do it anymore.. it wouldn't charge when I had it plugged in for days... I was just using my van to charge it incase I need a jump- ya know! WAIT A MINUTE!! HOW RUDE ARE THESE POLICE??!!. All of a sudden - FLASH LIGHT IN MY EYES - I COULDN'T SEE WHO IS IT!! THAT'S NOT OK!! HE SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!
