I don't know about America, but for Europe, the rear vent port can be opened if you want to get through ventilation or closed if you don't want your head ventilated.

Rain should not be coming through the vent. I've heard mixed things on eyeglass compatibility for LS2 helmets. Usually thinner cheek pads can rectify the issue.
Would love to hear from people that have this helmet their comments on noise and ventilation.
Unfortunately, we have not personally tested this helmet.
As a new rider I don't have a lot of experience with helmets, but I'm quite happy with the noise levels. I'm always wearing earplugs coz I love my hearing, but below 60mph/100kmph you don't actually need them. If you close the vents, it's even better.
What is the weight comparison to the old
It's a little lighter.
