10th Brigade Of Ukrainian Army Anthem

A year after being founded in 2016, 10th Mountain Brigade takes part in combat action on the east of Ukraine. For their mountain training, the fighters of this brigade were called "Edelweiss" - flowers that grow in difficult conditions high up in the mountains.
Since the full-scale invasion, "Edelweiss" freed Kyiv's region, shortly after they were sent to Donetsk, where they heroically defended Soledar and nearby villages. In November, 10th Brigade stood on defense of Yakovlivka, a village north from Soledar. On their official page they wrote:"Yakovlivka. Countless storm attempts and none successful. Occupants razed the whole place to the ground. All who haven't evacuated - killed by russians. We're still standing. We won't surrender. We will win!"
The author of the anthem is Hlib Babich, a ukrainian poet, blogger. He took on arms right when the war began, on February 24th. On July 28th 2022, Hlib died on a combat mission.. Eternal glory to heroes!
