I'm just south of Tacoma and the building I'm in is HEAVILY armed with active service members and vets. Our building runs along the base property line, so I don't think they'll have the moxy to come this close to authority.

That was my neighborhood in the 80's and 90's. My best friend was a regular at the Comet Tavern, right there at Broadway and Pine. Was once the best city in the Nation. Now a victim of its own success. Try to find a 1985 copy of Rand McNally "Places Rated Alamanc". Seattle beat out 100's of other U.S. cities in just about every category: Housing Prices, Entertainment, Schools, Low Crime.
Glad I didn't stick around to see it all fall apart.

Seattle changed, in the meantime, so there is no going back. Cities pretty much suck. As I mentioned earlier, Seattle used to be unique and had a small-town feel.
I used to live above the Pike Place Market remember one night I was walking back by myself from Pioneer Square after enjoying an evening of Music and Dance and before I knew it I probably had close to 20 or 30 crackheads chasing you down the street trying to rob me this was in1986.
