- Hi dears! đ
Reaching out to my YT community for honest thoughts and advice. Iâm in love with my latest Chanel purchase but am having some doubts about authenticity (as well as some craftsmanship type stuff - that can probably be addressed). The authenticity piece for me is HUGE!
Please let me know if you have the same bag with a longer chain strap length like this one.
Thank you!! đ
As always, thanks so much for watching. đ

I would return it. I always use their âpersonal shopperâ service that way they go get the bag and go over all the details with you over the phone and they seem to be pretty honest about their thoughts on the bag. Iâve turned away a few bags by using that service they have but had I not called their personal shopper service and only went by the pictures on their site I wouldâve gotten it.
This color makes my heart sing.
I would totally return because everything you pointed out would bother me on a daily basis. You are not crazy. Thanks for sharing! Xoxo
Dee K Thanks dear. Sometime Chanel makes me crazy!! đ©
I think even rich ladies will get tired of these Chanel prices and more people will choose *hotdups* to satisfy their needs.
Hi, I know that some people extend the chain length in handbag restoration companies, this also can explain the difference in colour. đ
As others mentioned, the strap was definitely lengthened. Fashionphile should not have been charging over retail for an altered bag. I would definitely return it and speak to them about the fact that the alteration was not disclosed.
fashion junky đŻ
When you examine something to that degree you will find signs it was made by a human. I do the same thing. Remember this stuff is manufactured at a high volume by people like us ( humans), though they strive for perfection nothing is perfect. Unless you just have buyers remorse and just looking for a reason to return it. Whether real or not the bag looks flawless to me.
This is quite an old video but - actually, after sharing this video, I learned that the bag was altered by a 3rd party and Fashionphile neglected to disclose that in their posting. Because it was not in its original form and the value of a Chanel bag goes down with alterations, I decided to return it. Iâm glad I examined it closely because if I hadnât, I wouldnât have learned that the bag had mismatched color/dye and altered chain length. I wasnât looking for a reason to return it. I had been searching for this color for a long time. But I donât believe in settling.
I know people who make over 200k a year but they only buy *hotdups* . No one would question their bag because of their profession, so why spend thousands on the same bag? It's so refreshing to see people spending their money wisely
Hi your videos are so helpful! :) I wanted to ask you I bought a Chanel classic flap from eBay and everything looks real like a real Chanel bag the only thing that bothers me is that the 1 has no feet and the 0 has no line through itself in the hologram sticker.. does this automatically mean itâs a fake?
I think the chain may have been extended. When you show the darker part it seemed like two different leathers was somehow merged together there. Heartbreaking as it is, I would return. TFS! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
KK LVoes CC Yes. Thatâs what it is! Chain was extended. Iâm going see if FP can give me a partial refund and then use that money to send this off to leather surgeons to get the chain back to original. What do you think?
Since you have 30 days to return contact leather surgeons first! They usually reply to you within 1-2 days. Show them pictures and ask if they can restore it and get a quote. They are so nice and very helpful! If they say they can, ask fashionphile for a partial refund (at least enough to cover your repair cost). Then you can make a decision at that point. Please keep us posted!
KK LVoes CC Thank you dear! I will do that!!
I would send it back. Any change made in the bag, will keep people away from buying it. It Is clear that the chain was extended and very badly. For such high price the bag has to be in pristine condition and itsn't.
If you have doubts, I think you should return the bag. Especially since u paid more than retail!!
Returning is not so easy. Donât remove the tags. You have to pay $75 dollars for them to inspect it. Then shipping. If they come back to say that it is fake, then you have to pay for them to return to you. It does happen even if you buy it from them, some people donât have the money to pay for their bags to be returned so fashionphile keeps the bags. Lucky them. When I bought mine, they gave me two weeks to return for 75% of my money back. Like they knew that my bag would not make me happy and I would return. Thatâs the scam. They keep selling the same bag over and over and making 25% plus $75 dollars to âauthenticationâ and shipping. Imagine that happened every two weeks. How much money have they made off people?
Wow. I totally understand your concerns. The square minis have a much shorter drop than rectangular. If someone altered the length then it shouldnât be considered authentic or Fashionphile should point out these differences. Besides the question of authenticity, I would return it because the grime is unacceptable with Excellent condition. Keep us posted on Fashionphileâs response.
Square mini prices on FF are outrageous. Iâd return if youâre not happy. And I donât think youâre being picky. The strap drop shouldnât be that long and I suspect itâs definitely altered. Good luck with FF and keep us posted with what you decide to do.
What I don't understand is how Fashionphile advertises as a pre owned company that makes luxury goods accessible to people who cannot afford retail and meanwhile they sell so many handbags at above retail even if they are still available at the boutiques and women purchase them. I guess that's why they still do it. Thats pretty amazing that you happened to buy a bag that one of your viewers sold to them. I sold 4 bags to Fashionphile and I have looked every day since then to see if they were posted (wanted to check the prices) and I have not seen any of them yet and it's over a year.
This is a very good point! The secondhand market is typically tailored towards customers who want to find bargains. I agree with you that Fashionphile has moved away from this. Itâs surprising how high the prices are on some of the Fashionphile items - way way above retail. đ
I just bought a Chanel boy bag from Fashionphile. I'm in the exact boat as you right now. I noticed a few flaws such as the stars on the medals are not hexagons and few other stuff. I'm currently waiting on my authentication result from Real Authentication. Is it suppose have a strong leather smell? It reminds me of a car leather smell that makes one nausea. I feel nauseated just smelling the leather and now the smell is stuck with my nose smell.
Try entrupy for authentication. But I wonder if strap was lengthened. I would return it if it was lengthened by 3rd party. â€ïžâ€ïž
My rectangular mini is 24â seasonal stone color I paid slightly over too. Ask fashionable Amy she has a black lamb square mini She said her square has shorter chain. Mini from minksMonday has use that authenticity company before. Iâm wondering if the dark on the chain is glue from production The open link shows up very clearly in a picture so you could send that picture to Gery at leather surgeons. Also when they recondition my re-issue the turnaround was incredibly short I swear it wasnât more than one week out and then one week back
Love FP. Seems authentic but maybe it was altered?
I think the darkness is quite visible. And it seems that someone made the strap longer. Sounds crazy but seems to be so when you look at those gaps and then darkness.
Olga S Omg my friend on IG said the same exact thing! As I look at it closely, it definitely looks like the chain strap was extended!!! Iâll need to send it off to get the chain back to original. Thank you Olga!!
I totally agree with you and it does seem that the strap was extended by four or five inches.
This is unbelievable!đ±
I am late with this video and can't wait to here the update. I've also read the amazing story in the comment about this bag! What an AMAZING STORY! BUT, can't help but to pay it all worked out. But I would send it back and FP should know better than this. This is so unacceptable on so many levels!đ
MINDBODYSOUL Thanks dear. I see you caught up on a lot of videos last night! đ Thanks so much for watching and for your supportive comments, as always! đ
@@hellocatwalkcity yes, I'd recently found and subbed you. I'm learning so much from your channel and you make it easy to listen and learn. I'm a marathoner!đđ
Hi! It really does look like someone altered the chain. I would not keep this bag, especially with the price you paid. Best of luck on finding the perfect bag.
How awesome that the original owner saw this and you were able to connect
Mate Family Yes, crazy awesome!!
Return.... Iâve had this issue with Fashionphile as well. Iâm to the point now if it's not listed as ânewâ... I will pass on it. This only relates to Chanel items. Iâm super picky as well.
Return it especially since you paid over retail. Maybe someone had the chain altered to make it longer to wear it cross body and the person is taller...
Chloe Yes that seems to be the case. I only paid slightly over retail and Iâll be asking FP for a partial refund so I can get the chain taken care of... weâll see!
Sounds like a good plan! Hope all goes well!
Chloe Thank you! đ
I agree with the others here, it looks like the chain has been altered. If it was done by Chanel(they do alter chains)it would not bother me as much, but if it's done by a local repair store or something like that...I think I would return it! If will be an issue if you deside to sell it later on. If you paid over retail I would def return it.
Check Anne Doctor mini bag collection video. She has a black older mini square and says the straps in the older square minis are longer than the current ones being made. The sides are also like yours. So yours might be an original and not a fake.
Dohanie Sepulveda Thanks dear. Pretty sure the bag is authentic now... but the chain length has definitely been extended so I need Fashionphile to give me a partial refund for not catching this. Iâll need to get the chain adjusted back to original length and get it authenticated. đ
I feel fashionphile is not really consistent on their listing of items conditions. Some item has far less condition issues on the website but be ready to discover more flaws when you receive it in person, I returned few of my orders, it was a pretty disappointing experience
The older Chanel square bags have considerably longer straps than the new square ones. They are much sought after for that reason, as they can be worn cross body. If you're in doubt, find an independent, insured, authenticator, that you can go and speak with - it will be worth the investment. I would mention that no bag is perfect, either new or used. There are always some flaws. Good luck.
Did you get it authenticated?
Fashionfile prices on Chanel minis are just crazy! Theyâre asking over 5K for some and if you add tax to that price? Omg! No thanks.
Ann Chong Oh no... I only paid slightly over retail... no where near 5k!! đŹ Iâm asking FP for a partial refund bc of the chain issue (it was extended and needs to be put back to original length)!!
Fashionphile didnât photograph or disclose broken hardware on a ysl handbag I purchased and didnât include the original dust bag that they said comes with the handbag. They gave me $90 for the hardware and said they donât have the dust bag... disappointing.
Shannon đ©
Iâd return it. It would bother me no end.
Use baby wipes to clean the leather and then use leather condition right after, the bag will look new!
I know you love it but Iâd return it on principle alone if they donât give you a partial refund. They clearly misled you by not listing the altered chain. And then the bs about chain length and country! Ridiculous. Kudos to the previous owner for contacting you. That was extremely nice and much more honest than Fashionphile! Good luck. (p.s. Iâve used Gerry at leather surgeons to lengthen a Chanel chain and heâs awesome. Mine is undetectable. He could definitely fix it for you but FF should take responsibility!!)
Forgot to add... as you know, altering the chain alters the value of the bag. I inherited my vintage medium flap from my mom so I knew I would never ever sell it. If you keep it, thatâs a consideration. Please keep us posted!
Chanel do make their bags marked made in France, especially for different countries where it is reconised that the population is know to be taller or shorter.
I am 6' 1 and I have bought Chanel bags which have been made in France in Germany, for Germans who on the whole are taller say someone who is of Japanese origin.I have 3 bags bought in Germany, made in France and the chain length is 28 inches which is perfect for me.I live in the United Kingdom and the chain are on average 25 inches, and the average height for women in the UK is between 5'4 and 5'6.I hope this is of help but as I said before if in doubt send it back
Awww what a bummer! I would return it and wouldnât even bother with the leather surgeons. Doubt FP will refund much and their excuse of the length discrepancy sounds a little sus in my opinion đ€. On top of that, what if it comes back with extra scuffs or indentations that werenât there before? Possibility for never ending troubles âčïž. If you do, however, go through that process it seems like the experience thus far would leave a bad taste every time you use it in the future. I feel like when you finally find the perfect one it will be true destiny!!!
Hi dear! I posted a video about my first fashionphile purchase yesterday and it was a little disappointing...Iâm not sure about the authenticity as well so I just returned it. đąOther youtubers told me to return if youâre in doubt. Thanks for sharing, let us know the updatesâșïž
Renee S. Liu I would đŻ return any other bag in a heartbeat but Iâm so torn about this one bc it was so hard to find!! đ© I will see how much of a refund I can get from Fashionphile and if it makes sense Iâll use that money to get the bag authenticated and adjust the chain back to original. They really need to give me a substantial refund for this!! Right?! đ
if you send it back within 30 days you will get 100% full refund back. you will not loose any money, but DO NOT cut the tag. I would return it and you will find a perfect one, eventually!!! good luck!
Never seen that long of a strap on a mini square. May be the bag was altered and they added those 4/5 inches with another color leather that you think is dirty but itâs a different leather that is why? I would definitely return it
Also the « gap » could be bc they took the chain out to make it longer
I would say itâs authentic but altered. Wouldnât keep it
I also never heard of such long strap drop for the square, mine is 21". It is the main reason why I prefer the square over the rectangular bc it can comfortably wear both crossbody and on shoulder. I like to authenticate with Etinceler but they don't do classics via photos only. Authenticate First and Real Authentication I used before but on seasonal bags. My consignment place uses Entrupy but that's only when I sell my bag with them. The gap doesn't bother me, mine has small ones too and with used bag if you pull on it hard enough like carry heavy items, it can cause gap to widen. But the chain part bothers me. Odd thing is, without the problem darken part, that chain length would be normal. I'm very curious to what FashionPhile would say next. It's on 75th St, I walk there to return stuff before, you can easily go there and speak with someone in person. Good luck. XO
Becky Panda Thanks dear! Actually when I remove the dark part of the chain, the length would be perfect! So lots of ppl are telling me the chain mustâve been extended, which I think is true. I will ask FP for a partial refund and use that money to get the chain back to original with Leather Surgeons. I hope it all works out!!
@@hellocatwalkcity That makes so much sense! But this person went through so much trouble to lengthen the chain and in the end don't want the bag! FashionPhile is also really sloppy not to catch the strap has been altered.
Becky Panda đŻ agree on sloppiness by Fashionphile!
Return it because youâll always notice the flaws/defects.
My favorite colour â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
... watched your video to the end...regarding authentication.. from experience with Leather Sergeants .. I contact the owner when I was sending my bag and I asked him if he could give me his opinion regarding authenticity up on receiving the bag... I got my âeverything is good with the bagâ next day after they got the bag, so if you consider them for authentication services, reach out to them before, Iâm sure they will let you know ASAP. Also, they may be able to fix that bit of the strap you have a problem with, I would email them ... but you have to consider if itâs worth it, you already pay premium on the bag with additional expenses... I think bag is authentic, colour is very particular, i belive black and bedge are so popular they are the most coppied, but i would send it off for autentication too... just food for thoughts :) good luck and again, I love đ that colour:))
I would return it, at first with length I would be ok but the chain issue is a no no. For that much money I would not keep it with doubts of authenticity. May be an oversight but I would want to be comfortable.
It definitely seems suspect to me I would return it.
I know shopping on line for discontinued high prices goods can be crazy, but it is better and more fun going to go shopping at the Chanel boutique especially if goods are expensive.
This specific bag is no longer being sold at the boutiques. Since Chanel never repeats the same exact seasonal colors, itâs impossible to find this one unless you buy preloved. Regardless, I went ahead and returned it bc it wasnât worth all the headache (youâll know what I mean if you watched the followup video)! Thanks for watching!
I think they have had the strap length altered and thatâs why itâs longer. I wouldnât be happy with it.
mellyholly Indeed that seems to be the case.
TBH I would return it, just to be safe. Even if itâs authentic, it seems like it has some problems so I would return it.
even if the bag IS authentic, it would bother me that there are flaws, which were not made by me using it. if the strap wasnât lengthened, it looks like the stained part of the chain was soaked in something and the leather is expanded and thatâs why the folding looks off. anyways you would probably want to have the option to be able to resell it, and those problems will lose you money...
jasmine park đŻ your points are right on. I learned a lot this week. Will share in an update video very soon!! Hoping to film tomorrow!!
There was a Dior Lady Dior mini in black that I saw a week ago that had a tag that said MADE IN FRANCE. and the serial number wasnât even the correct format. Dior bags havenât been made in France since the 80s. I donât trust fashionphile anymore because of that. That is a very OBVIOUS thing to overlook. You donât even have to be an expert to know that. Itâs really sad. Theyâre not much better than TheRealReal I guess.
B N oh wow... đ©
Looks like someone altered the chain. Might have added leather and chain to it. That is why the color is different on the leather part of the chain. I would return it
Karen Grimes Yes, a friend pointed out that the chain was extended!
hello catwalk city you might want to see if Fashionphile will give you a HUGE discount since it was altered and effects the value of the bag.
ë ë ììì 믞ë!! ë돎 ìë»ì^^ beautiful~
Iâm not super picky but the issue with the chain would bother me even if it was authenticated. If this is proven to be authentic, the chain was clearly altered and should have been disclosed. Iâve also always been wary about authentication using only photos because to me part of the authentication process should involve holding, smelling etc. Iâve never bought a preowned bag so Iâm hardly an expert but thatâs just my 2 cents.
I donât think itâs fake. In fact the only people (that I know of) that will lengthen the chain of a Chanel bag is leather surgeons. They will not work on fake bags. If I were to purchase a classic flap, of any size, I would get the chain lengthened. Iâm tall and almost none of the Chanel classic bags work for me. If it bothers you, send it back. Tell fashionphile what youâre looking for or use lovelotsluxury on Instagram. Thereâs a lot of ways to find what you want. Who knows maybe this spring Chanel will release something similar. Good luck hun! If you email leather surgeons, they should have a record of it.
Could be authentic. But altered. There is a company that repairs Chanel bags that offers a service to extend the chain. They add leather and links and use real leather but Iâm assuming they paint the leather to try to match. They are called Leather Surgeons. Apparently they are who Chanel actually uses for basic repairs in USA but they cannot state that. So previous owner maybe paid for that and didnât disclose to Fashionphile.
Jennifer Toomer All true!!! And I spoke with Leather Surgeons about this. Interesting what I learned- will share in my update video!!! Thanks dear đ
Hello. I would definitely keep it if Fashionphile was willing to give partial refund and I would have leather surgeons fix it.
Hi dear! I wanted to know how you were able to resolve this? Did you keep the bag? and NO, your are not crazy. I can see what you mean just watching the video. Let me know what you did?
Hi! I did an update video soon after this one explaining what happened, but yes, I returned the bag. Iâm happy I did.
Wow, so happy it's authentic but FP should be more understanding.
I would return it đ
Fashionphile never sells fake bags!
Return it. There are plenty more out there.
"Picky body" for the money you probably paid ( above retail) it should be FLAWLESS and new! But that's just me:)
Agree, which is why I returned it. They really gave me no choice in the end.
If you have any doubt, send it back.
I hate to say it but I think you should return it. I've purchased a few items from FP and they are always great but I did have one issue with a Mini Lady Dior bag I purchased from them. The Dior charm letters were out of order...IRD. I only noticed because I own other Lady Dior bags purchased from the boutique and the letters are always in the same order and can't be moved around. I returned it and told them my concerns, but I saw it listed on their website again a couple of days later. I know you love this bag, but you will always have doubts and once the return period is over, it's yours unless you can prove that it's not authentic.
Islandgirl8 Eek!!! đŹ
Oh wow islandgirl8! About 1 month ago at fashionphile I looked at a dior lady bag, I believe in medium black and the Dior letters were mixed up as well! Wonder if that was the same bag you looked at. Very sickening they would re post it! Dior would not have letters moved around! Also another lady bag I saw had the Dior letter CHARM instead of the one that comes with the bag that is unremoveable. Never seen one like that. You could actually remove the charm. It was like a keychain!
@@debbieh9009 wow that's so interesting. Nah, the one I had an issue with was a mini. Maybe I'm wrong and the letters are sometimes out of order.
@@islandgirl8740 no I have a mini. The letters can NOT be moved around...at all.
@@debbieh9009 Oh wow! Glad I returned it then!
You are Not being picky at all! The Authenticators should have thoroughly disclosed this unusual detail in the description. Recently I received an item from Fashionphile that had an overwhelming smell of Fabreze that was not disclosed in the description. I returned it with my reason for the return, it was relisted without disclosure of odor- it sold & now I see the exact same bag relisted again and no where in the description does it mention odor in description. Ugh!
Antonella Abraham Thank you dear! I always found Fashionphile to be very meticulous with listing the precise condition, odor, etc... but are they slipping??? đ€
hello catwalk city its a bit disappointing isn't it?!
Antonella Abraham Totally đ
I would take it to Chanel or a trusted company and check authenticity ASAP - not an authentication company affiliated with fashionphile. The darker leather in chain wouldnât bother me TOO much, but the chain length would. I canât stand handbags that drop below my hip - itâs a deal breaker for me personally. If thatâs something that would bother you as well, then I would skip the hassle of getting it authenticated and just return and look for another one!
Yes, the strap length bothers me! It turns out the strap was extended and can be readjusted back to original length by Leather Surgeons. I just haven't decided yet whether or not it's worth all that hassles, time and money.
hello catwalk city ugh such a tough decision! If you end up returning it and are interested in sourcing this piece I would highly recommend Jennifer Nissan (sheâs in NYC area - frontrowlive via instagram). Sheâs very well connected and awesome to work with. She recently sent me a Prada and itâs perfect! Good luckđ€
Kristin Deltoro Thanks so much babe!!
I never buy used stuffs ever ever ever, from car to clothing to accessories. I cannot afford Chanel, don't like LV and dislike Gucci prices even tho I own 6 Gucci belts, 4 pair of shoes but no bags yet, could be the ones I keep eyes on are outrage prices. Ladies and gentlemen, if it happened that you love luxury brand names and logos, go inside their boutiques to buy your items. Why would you want to deal with the old stuff people already used and sell to you for a fortune. If you afford to pay 5k used purse what's the difference to add another thousand to get a brand New. Plus you go inside boutique, you get a nice service, ppl treat you like a queen, you come out, chin up and proud of your purchase, that you get a real real brand new that no one has touched it. Am picky. When buying my belts, I demand the sale person to get me the one in the seal, not even display, for a thousand Gucci belt. I prefer to buy a brand new h&m stuffs or madewell or Anthropologie, but should be new, not on replica or eBay. Happy New year everyone and go shopping New, not fake not used and headache to deal with. Not worth it
mary nguyen Lol I understand what you mean but this bag can not be purchased in the boutiques. Itâs no longer available and is a very unique color that is super hard to find. Thatâs why I hunted it down on the preloved market. Btw, unfortunately Chanel does not âtreat you like a queenâ in the boutiques - at least not most of the time. Many ppl who love Chanel are willing to buy preloved just to avoid the Chanel SAs. Believe it or not.
@@hellocatwalkcity am sure you are a young beautiful lady. you don't need that bag or anything else to make you look better than you are. I would shop what I love at a place people respect me and treat me important as a good customer. As you said, the service in a business is very important and the way how you feel in getting what you want. You should be feeling happy and satisfied when you spend that much bcoz you buying the whole package including a good service. Happy day to you!
I have this bag and my chain is slightly less than 21â. Looks like itâs been altered. đŻ
Jesse Dana Thanks for sharing ... indeed, it looks like the chain has been extended. Weâll see how this goes... đ€
I'm think return it, because you not are sure, Thanks for sharing, Have a blessed day. ..Mary â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžđđđđđâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
You are very picky like I am. It's hard enough to get a perfect new bag let alone a pre-owned.
Anita Marie Yes, I am picky! đ But I think Fashionphile misrepresenting a bag like this is not cool. Picky or not, a customer should know what theyâre getting. Right?
hello catwalk city I totally agree with you. No argument there. Do you think the original owner disclosed these things but Fashionphile didnât so they could charge a higher price? I did read the ownerâs comments here. I guess what I was saying was that I would probably never buy pre-owned but I certainly understand that you really searched for this specific bag.
Anita Marie Yes I think Fashionphile neglected to include it in the description. The previous owner was really honest about it. I went the preloved route for this one bc I canât get this specific color as itâs from 18b but I may have to just return it and be patient for another beautiful color in the future. I will decide by the end of the week and promise to upload an update video soon!!! Xo
@@hellocatwalkcity I look forward to hearing what happens! Best of luck.
Return it and keep looking. This defect will keep bothering you.
If somethingâs feels odd, return it.
Such a shocking oversight from FAshionphile..... Iâm totally shocked they would sell you that !!! Soooo obvious it has been altered ! Really turns me off buying from them. I know you can return but thatâs not the point .... it is completely deceiving the customer !! I would never keep an altered bag ! A real shame !! Return ASAP đđ
Return it so you donât stress out about it đ„ș
Carol B Chanel always stresses me out. đ€Šđ»ââïž
I say return it because you are not sure if it is authentic. If you purchased it from the boutique that is one thing, you can decide if you want to live with the chain length and the discoloration. But since you got it from Fashionphile....ummmm....nope. the chain is longer AND there is discoloration? Too many mishaps imo.
debbie h Soooo, the discoloration is actually an added piece of chain that wasnt there.. at least thatâs what it seems. So without that darker area, the chain would actually be the correct length! Previous owner prob lengthened it bc she was super tall or something. I will see if I can get this authenticated and adjusted back to the original chain length... but first, I need Fashionphile to own up to this and issue a partial refund!! Right?! đ
@@hellocatwalkcity right! If you are going ti keep it and the bag was altered (where officially it has been altered) they should give you a partial refund.
Fashionphile doesnât sell replicas
The Chanel store is your best bet
LVfan81 Not sure if you caught my followup video. It was an authentic but unfortunately was misrepresented on the listing. The bag was altered and not in original condition. Thanks for watching!
I would return it if I were you. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, and it goes for anything, not just for this Chanel handbag, I would return it or ask for a refund. Because you spend all this money on this handbag, and if you're not happy, it's not worth it. I would look for another exact mini that you're after or I would wait for Chanel to re-release this exact handbag. Chanel does re-release handbags. It just takes time. I remember when I wanted a chanel mini in black but missed out. Then a couple years later they brought it back and I was able to get one. They do re-release colors of minis, so just wait get the one you're happy with or look at other preloved websites.
Mimi Mi Thanks dear. You may be right. Iâll decide soon!
Use it for a while and then sell back to Fashionphile if you donât like it!
Something not right, I'd return it!
Jackie Sturrock Something is not right indeed!!! đ I will talk to Fashionphile and the Leather Surgeons tomorrow and see what they say! I promise to post a followup video on how this all turns out! Thanks dear! đ
I would return it.
Looks like a fake. Return it
Return
I would return it those flaws are costly and not worth it unless you donât mind. But Definitely would Urke me especially knowing how much you wanted this bag.
Return it.
You have an Eagle eye
Return!!
ppl these are secondhand items they are going to have flaws get over it or buy brand new
merci..If real keep,fake return
Can you go to the Chanel boutique for help with authentication? My LV boutique has helped me in the past with authentication. If I had this many doubts, I would probably return it. Iâm sure you spent a lot of money. Too bad, it so beautiful. đ„
Kyla Kumagai đŻ will get it authenticated! And the chain will need to be put back to original length... bc it was extended (that dark part is extra chain that wasnât there before!)
hello catwalk city Iâm planning on buying a Rolex pre-loved but sometimes it worries me about the authenticity. What has been your overall experience buying items âpre-loved?â Your video makes me apprehensive about going that route.
Kyla Kumagai Ohh, I have no idea about preloved watches. Until now, my experiences buying preloved from Fashionphile have been really good. They offer 100% money back guarantee anytime if the item is deemed unauthentic. Not sure where youâre buying your watch from? Is it reputable?
Thatâs good to know about Fashionphile. Iâve never purchased anything from there. Good to know about their return policy.
I say return itđ
It's not authentic.. They are a bad place to buy from! Stay away from them!
