This is so true. I have the thinner love ring and it’s already such a statement piece. A lot of people take attention to it. So I can’t imagine what would happen if I had bought the regular size love ring lol 😅 for people with slimmer fingers like me, I strongly suggest the smaller love ring!
Cartier definitely holds its value comparing to any other brands.
My husband just bought me a Love ring yellow gold for my birthday today. I enjoyed the entire Cartier experience!
You can visit a boutique and ask them to put beads on the inside of the thin Love ring (this should be free of charge) and will reduce the size by 1-2 sizes.
Oh the thin JuC shouldn’t be separated between the nail head and tail. It should be twisted back so they’re touching each other as per the website picture. Lovely collection. Love them all so much.

You are wearing the small JZuC in the open position. You're a supposed to flip the nail head to the other side so there isn't a gap. Amazing collection you and your family have.

Beautiful collection. 💕 I must share that I didn’t realize it was created as a take on the chastity belt and that when it was created only the man was allowed to purchase for their partner. I was looking into getting the ring next week and I’m not so sure I have the same opinion of it now. That backstory just rubs me the wrong way. 😔😕
I bought myself one. I didn't know the story either and it also rubbed me the wrong way but it has only made me feel empowered by my purchase. Show yourself some love; you are deserving of it. Remember that you have the power to rewrite any negative message and have it represent whatever you want it to represent.

Hi! I work for Cartier and this story is not necessarily true. The designer is Aldo Cipullo and he was inspired by normal hardwares such as screws and nails (he also created Juste en clou) and the idea of “locking memories”. You can research more about it, should be online :)

It just would not happen!.bytheway, what you said about hospitals keeping the (love bracelet) screwdriver on hand is actually true. At least in North American hospitals --in the bigger cities. My friend is an emergency room nurse, and in her dept. and on the surgical floors the love bracelet screwdriver is part of their 'surgical' equipment. lol

I'm personally not a fan of the Love bracelets, I think they scratch very easily and look a bit too simple for my taste.
I recommend the Clash de Cartier or even the Ecrou de Cartier range for interesting pieces that are not flooded all over social media x

Bought my LOVE bracelet in the late 70ies. Hardly anyone had it as opposed to now where it has become a uniform.

LOVED this video Aika! Agree with so many of your points. I will say that going to the boutique currently isn’t exciting at all, at least it wasn’t for me. Getting the pieces themselves was though. Completely agree that these pieces do not hold their value at all, crazy enough the more you spend on the higher end items, the more money you lose, it’s a gut punch. I have the same bracelets but all mines are in moissanites and sparkle just like real natural high clarity diamonds nobody can never tell and I only paid 3k for 4 bracelets combines.

At Cartier they change your ring in a smaller or bigger size for free. I think that is only the first few months/year or so but longer than you would expect..

I am very confused now on which one and which size I want. haha! I knew I wanted the JUC for sure but now i am confused on whether to go with the small size or the regular size. I feel I want the regular size, however its like $7K+ and I don't want to spend that much for the bracelet right now. Maybe i will go with the Love small, and then get the JUC regular size in the future. That way I know I can stack them up together or I can get the regular love size in the future also, since stacking up a small and regular size Love look pretty good. I got to make sure i check all the sizes and how they look while stacked and not rush while i am purchasing. lol I rushed when i purchased my JUC small ring, and Trinity small ring. lol

I like small JUC, because you don’t have to deal with clasps - it’s flexible, but I don’t like how it looks on my wrist 🤷🏻♀️ both diamonds/no diamonds are beautiful, but if I were to get one and had enough $$ I’d go for the diamond one 😄

I went to Cartier store today. I went for option buying a ring & bracelet. The ring was so light that I kinda find it not worthy .. the bracelet is still ok.
But keep in mind there’s not much resale value of this unlike normal jewelery.

Anyone would want to buy the bigger pieces and more blingy. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford Cartier prices. I used to like Cartier, but it too common so I move to Harry Winston and Graff for more exclusivity.

Small just un clou doesn't have screws, it wraps around you it's flexible .
What is your love SM size and your wrist size can I have that for reference. I did try sizes on the store but I want to know about others to see how different in wrist size and bracelet sizes feel I have 15.5 cm wrist size and I try both 17 and 18 and still thinking 🤔
Mine is in size 17) I’d say go for one that’s not very tight, you’ll feel uncomfortable)

Trust me ladies and gentlemen, Cartier is the worth brand you can have. I worked there for years and it's all made in NY not even in France as you may think. The brand claim all hamd made, it's all mass produced. The diamond on the bracelets and ring are not even any significant in size , bracelets are like .08ct. Just look at van cleef, they all are Richemont brands but they are more luxurious. Service at van cleef is definitely a top notch. If you were to re sell Cartier pieces you will lose half . Does not hold value.
