- shadow of the vampire, 2000. The filming of Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922) is hampered by the fact that its star Max Schreck is taking the role of a vampire far more seriously than seems humanly possible.

Actually forgot about this movie till seeing this. Willem Dafoe was nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for this role. The real original movie Nosferatu has the scariest vampire imo and can be found here on CZcams.
I feel like such a fool but I never checked this one out. I only vaguely registered that Dafoe played a vampire...
Oh my. Thank you all.
The entire plot of this movie is like the driving force of the Peter Jackson King Kong film with Jack Black trying to make a movie and not caring at all when the cast and crewmen are dying during the process.
That plot has been used a million times.
Greed, foolishness, or obsession, call it whatever you want to but murnau is one of the most driven and dedicated director's i have ever seen. That's some true dedication right there, imagine how big that 💰 must've been.
So this movie is based on the making of the real movie Nosferatu. If events go anything like the real one, they don't really make much.
This is because the movie is based on Bram Stoker's Dracula novel who was late at that time. The writer's widow is was legally supposed to give the final say on all adaptations but they never got it from her. She sued the movie creators and the court ruled in her favour, ordering the destruction off all copies of the film. The studio that made the film shortly went bankrupt.
The only reason the movie survived is a copy of it made its way to America and was re-copied several times.
It's fiction. This depiction of Murnau is fiction. And Max Shreck was not actually a vampire.
Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich forever !
fun to Just Si next am Just how about you next Week next Last Jersey Week Location forever the next
@@cherylgarcia3589 🤣🤔🤔😂😁💥✨🎉🤣❔❓❗❓❓👀
They're part of the world cultural heritage. I loved this movie. I have to rewatch it.
Nicolas Cage as Producer too…
Agreed!
This movie is like an alternate reality
"You know I'm something of a vampire myself"
12:27 “Ending his Big life” 😂
Hehe, the scene with "Oh. The script girl. I'll eat her later." 😊
I watched this movie for like 2 times by now, maybe I will look it for the third time, great
I like this new narrator. He's not as perky as the original narrator, but straight-forward. Good job with the video!😁
willem dafoe might never play joker, but atleast he was a vampire 🥳
Pretty sure he was also the Green Goblin in the original spiderman movies
@@Nyx.Nax.9571 yes ineed he was 😊. To be fair, green Goblin is also crazy like the joker in its own way.
@@coffybloffy4566 yep
At least...?
Aye he posted!
I love that the ai writing this video uses “hormones” as an explanation for all human activity
Fact : the lead actor who played 'count orlok' in nosferatu was 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐆𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐯 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐤.
(Not Shrek lol 🤣)
Schreck means fear in german. 😊
i like the previous voice so much better. please bring that one bk.
Love your narration. And these names 😂
Dedication right there 😅😅😅
Why do they always say smelly directors etc
He's a wierdo
And smelly mouth 👄👄😂🤣😹🥴🥴🥴🤭🤭💯
*k o m e d i*
Shrek has smelly vampire chicken hormones.
Hello everyone have a great day
In case you didnt know, there is actually a movie called The Symphony of Nosferatu or just Nosferatu from 1922. And on which thiis movie is based on.
that would actually be a good movie id see it
Well, that is a real movie, it's called The Symphony of Nosferatu o just Nosferatu. It's from 1922, no dialogue tho
😂😂😂 completely gone insane
Is this for the blind?
I miss the old narration voice.
What? A Vampire is hired to play a vampire show. That makes no sense and isn't the premise of the movie. He wasn't hired to play a show. The character he was hired to play was a vampire. How and why would anyone act like a TV show?
IT'S A MOVIE! HELLO!
Still a movie better than Blade 3 lol
I also love zombie and horror movie who agree victory to Russia 🇷🇺
This movie is friggin hilarious. UDO KIER is friggin hilarious!
I prefer the original voice
It seems like no matter how many different people narrate for this channel, the scripts remain as childish as ever, such as 'smelly hormones' just one of DCC famous one liners... Movie choices are interesting but the scripts are too silly 😒
That's the only original thing they have for them, if they don't add this silliness they will be at risk of losing interest
@@theophiled it makes you wonder who their demographic is? 12 year olds?
@@Lc-Lc- Are you kidding, this is basically slapstick humour read by AI. I love it.
As someone who is nearing middle age and has done some creative stuff myself.
And I like this new voice best. It's the kiddies who complain.
