Great and very professional reviews with tests.
Just wondering are you planning review SG906 pro version.
I found problems witch FPV and RC low range also FPV freezing at low range and inaccurate readings from battery Indicator cause to be RTH automatically activated.
I am hoping that new version of SG906pro has fixed all those issues but to confirm this would be great if you could test it for us.
1. FPV and RC range because they stated that there is improvements and not freezing at low range (FPV 600-800 and RV 1200)
2. Battery Indicator not fluctuating cause RTH be self activated.
3. What is real flying time on battery
4. At what range FPV start freezing and is completely frozen.

This drone has a WiFi video transmission, so 5.8 GHz FPV goggles like Fat Sharks won’t work with it (unless you put a 5.8 GHz AIO camera on it)…

How can one get control of the camera settings
The first time I've seen sense with those LED's... green at the front, and red at the back. Much better. Jello with that camera. Nice review, cheers.

Since it doesn't have ann SD card insert, do you know if it can mount a cam with an SD card ?? Maybe even compatible with the app ?? ..
With the camera module removed, there is quite a big space there capable of holding say a FireFly Q6, or a FireFly Micro, or a RunCam, etc.…
How do I shut the motor s off on the controller?
Amazing quad!!! I never heard about the brand though I am glad that now I do! Good range. The only thing, the camera which is good, should be fit onto the quad in another way. Thank you for the review and flight footage!

Yes, once done recording on the app, it saves a video file within the app and/or phone’s camera roll of the stream that displayed on the phone’s screen during flight...

Hi..Can i connect SG906 with Samsung Note 10 plus 4G?
I have ordered from Amazon Germany for 80 euros, very cheap. As for the sd card, I believe that the camera is detachable, so maybe in a while we can buy a camera extra with sd card.
For me to cache family moments with that price is great.

I plan to purchase 2 of these. My question is, can I use one transmitter to individually fly two at a time?
I’m not sure if that’s possible (as the controller needs to pair with a specific drone), but in any case, I wouldn’t recommend doing so as that may cause problems, interference, and may be erratic & unstable to fly and could crash…

Thanks, this is very similar to the F11 (perhaps they worked closely with SJRC on this one), but it’s not exactly the same. It has a different look and has some differences...

I just received mine yesterday. Despite it being very windy today I took it out and calibrated it and flew it with no issues. I really hope they come out with an updated camera that you could buy for this drone with an SD card slot. Would happily spend another $50-$60 for a real 4K video camera with a SD card slot. Love how easy it is to fly this drone. Maybe I can mount my 4K dash cam to it lol!

It’s at approximately 30 frames per second (when no lag from transmission is present) also the anti-shake option in the app wasn’t turned on because it put black bars around the edges and didn’t seem to make much of a difference…
@@rx344 Thanks for your reply .... that is Good to know .... many who are interested in this Quad are curious of how to get better Quality footage from the camera ....... not sure if ZLRC will come out with a firmware update to possibly help with this issue......Hopefully........ You did a Great Review of this Quad !!! if possible in the future do you think you could do a comparison of the ZLRC Beast SG906 vs SJRC F11 since you have both i would be very interested of what features you liked on each Quad more than the other..... being they cost about the same.... everyone is trying to figure which features are better as far as how an operator would view them ....... Thanks for any consideration of a comparison.
As a drone (not including camera) this one possibly has a slight edge over the F11 (due to the optical flow, independent ESC‘s, transmitter screen, etc)… But the F11 does take an SD card and is still an excellent drone...

The 906 I got says I need to find a 5G WLAN band and look for aircraft hotspots, then click on the serial number of the drone to activate drone. Can't find WLAN. Can't turn on drone

Not sure, just know that it supports 5G WiFi FPV...

It’s a difficult choice as all are good drones… I guess a lot depends on what you’re trying to do… For still pictures, this one is great. If you’re looking for smoother video (on a budget), then try something like a JJRC X9 Heron...

@@rx344 @rx344 What does that mean? Does the SG906 stay in a place better than the SG907? Maybe it's flight time and the bigger battery? Is 1080p HD on sg906 better than 4k on SG907? If so, what makes the difference you mean between the drones?
The SG906 Pro (that has just been released) is an upgraded version of the SG906. That drone has a 2-axis gimbal and takes a microSD card, so it should have stable, high-quality video footage compared to the others. Also, the SG906 Pro has brushless motors, which will last for several years and are powerful enough to fly in windy conditions…

The drone I just received looks a lot like that one in fact it looks exactly the same but it's called the CSJ-X7. When I put CSJ-X7 in CZcams search, your video came up. Wonder why...
That’s probably because I mentioned its alias within the video’s description (since this model is known by a couple of different names, one of which is CSJ-X7).

Whats the cheapest used phone that supports 5g wifi that will run this app, does anyone know? I went through all the manual steps to get the app on a fire 7 tablet but it wont connect to wifi and the app wont start. I just need a used phone that will be used for this fvp monitor only.

Not through official or conventional means… It can possibly be modified to have a 2 or 3 axis gimbal, but there is no officially supported add-on for this...

陆文强 how to get it in the optical flow mode only? Other CZcamsrs cannot get it in the optical flow mode only maybe you no how?👍
The optical flow camera underneath worked very well for me (even indoors) and I didn’t have to do anything special for it to be steady (just takeoff)…

The specs say frequency is 2.4G & the FPV wifi as 5G. Will this drone be compatible if I don´t have 5G service in my area? If so will it cause limitations to using this drone on a 2.4G network? Super video btw. I´m sold if it will work for me!!
It means your radio works at 2.4 GHz and your video works at 5GHz to avoid frequency conflict. You don't need 5ghz wifi it is coming from drone to transmitter video receiver.

Xaiomi wouldn't because the video feed (fpv) is in 5ghz, not 2.4 like the tello
Right, plus the FPV is already a bit extended (due to the fact that this is 5G WiFi)…
Although there are 5g wifi repeaters out there like the mi home. Reviews though don't show a lot of promise on range increase though. Called the Comfast CF-WR371AC if you want to look into it.

@@rx344 btw 5ghz distance is just greater because 2.4ghz has too much interference from the controller. Without interference 2.4ghz would reach way further!

They are both very good drones, but as far as stabilizing the footage, the X9 Heron definitely has the advantage… This one does have a better flight time though…

I did try a FireFly Micro & Q6 and those were carried just fine… I’ll have to try out other cameras and I plan to post another video mounting a different camera...

Yes, it doesn't, but its FPV quality is better than that of similar UAVs, and its transmission distance is farther and more stable and clear.
On the 4K model (which is the one I received), it does not have any visible SD card slot… I don’t know if the 1080P version is any different, but I doubt that it is…
